This makes me want to cry to see our country go down this path. We have lost our way. We have left the old paths and are following after foreign and sensual gods. Man today worships the creature rather than the Creator. Keep your eyes up fellow believers. Our redemption draweth nigh, very soon.

Luke 17:28-30   Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded;

Jude 1:7   Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire. 

The U.S. and the world are guilty of all kinds of fornications. It is sad that the so-called church really only fixates on one form of fornication and even then it is with much watered down handling of the subject.

Romans 1:20-25   For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:  Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.

There is a sevenfold sin in not winning souls.

I. Sin of Disobedience to Christ’s Main Command

The first sin is the sin of disobedience to the main command that Jesus Christ ever gave. We have an all-inclusive command for every Christian in the Great Commission. Not to obey that is not to obey Jesus on the one thing He died for, the main thing He gave instructions about.

Jesus told His disciples, ‘All of you go out here and get the Gospel to every creature. Take it into all the world and make disciples in all nations.’ I can imagine they might have thought, Well, we’re only twelve men. We can’t go to every nation. If we put one in Africa, one in South America, one in the continent of North America, one in Eastern Europe, one in the Balkan states, one in Russia, one in China, one in India, one in Indonesia, one in the Philippine Islands, one in Japan and one in Australia, that uses up all twelve apostles. But He said, “Lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world” (Matt. 28:20).

Now all the original twelve disciples are dead. But let’s see what happened because they obeyed His commission.

He said to Peter, “Go get people saved.”

“All right, Jesus, and then what?”

“Now get them baptized and grounded.”

“All right, Jesus, then what?”

“Then send them out to do just what I am telling you to do—observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you.”

Jesus is saying, “The command I give you today, you pass on to everybody you get saved.” So the Great Commission is as much to everybody here as it was to Peter or any one of the twelve.

But you say, “I’m not called to preach.” You’re called to be a Christian, though, and this is a part of being a Christian. If you were taught what Jesus said, then you were taught you ought to be a soul winner. In Revelation 22:17 we read, “And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come.” If you’ve heard it, then you are supposed to tell it.

Have you been scripturally baptized? If not, you have missed a joy and a blessing. If you have, then they ought to have told you, “Now, I’m passing on to you the Great Commission that Jesus gave the twelve apostles.”

Somebody says, “The Great Commission is given to the church.” Is that so? Chapter and verse, please! We are to get people saved, and we are to get them baptized, and we are to teach them to do what Jesus told the apostles to do. The Lord Jesus didn’t save church houses or have them baptized or call them to preach.

The Lord Jesus didn’t call denominational headquarters or baptize them or give them the Great Commission. Why doesn’t somebody say “Amen”?

Every preacher, if he is saved, has this Great Commission. If you don’t win souls, you have failed in your Christian life. No one is a good Christian who doesn’t win souls. You are not doing the first things He said you were to do after you got baptized. Those who do not win souls are disobedient in the main command of Jesus Christ, and that is not a small matter.

Satan was the first to demand equal rights

Isaiah 14:12-14:
How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!
For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:
I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.

Interesting how this sign has so many people upset today yet it is Biblical truth. Some say that this will confuse young people into thinking they cannot strive for equal rights.

Interesting that even Jesus was not caught up in "his rights"

Christians today need to get over themselves and stop being concerned about their rights and start focusing on the needs of others instead. This is what the Bible tells us we ought to be doing...

Philippians 2:4-8:
Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others.
Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:
Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:
But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:

GiGo

You can teach an old dog new tricks. Well at least new acronyms to help maintain everyday, solid biblical and Godly character.

A much younger brother in Christ yesterday told me about GiGo (guy go), garbage in garbage out. This is a concept everyone, starting with me, ought to keep as a guiding concept and what a great way for someone, especially a 'guy' (men in Christ), to keep this in remembrance as they 'go' (into all the world making disciples)!

Conspiracy

My sister asked for biblical proof regarding the Illuminati. Not sure why she asked but I gave a shot at answering it anyways.

Here is what I offered:

Illuminati... George Washington confirmed the existence of these conspirators. He said: "It was not my intention to doubt that, the Doctrines of the Illuminati, and principles of Jacobinism had not spread in the United States. On the contrary, no one is more truly satisfied of this fact than I am."  He also commented another time that he was aware of the Illuminati's nefarious actions.

With that said, as for Biblical support, the entire Bible is a historical record of one conspiracy after another. All of these nefarious accounts recorded in the Bible make up the most diabolical conspiracy the world has ever known, Satan's agenda to make himself equal to God and taking men's souls along with him.

It is amazing how our society, and especially Christians, have been conditioned to laugh at and even doubt conspiracies such as the illuminati. As for the Christians, we should know better as it was a conspiratorial effort that killed our Saviour.

Even after Biblical times history has been one conspiracy after another. Sinfull men are masters at conspiring against God and anything pure.

So the biblical support is the Bible itself.
