Before It's Too Late - another great poem by my Mom....

             BEFORE IT’S TOO LATE

   You look like a person who is quite smart.

   Can I ask you a question from the heart?

   What if today was when you died,

   Which way would you go – do you know what side?

 

   Have you been true and kept God’s law,

   Or did you lust at what you saw?

   Have you taken others property?

   Your also a thief-it’s plain to see.

 

   God is pure and God is true;

   He can see right through you.

   He is pure without a sin.

   Are you still carrying sin within?

 

   You’ll answer to God on Judgment Day;

   Heaven or Hell, what will He say?

   You’ve been bad-your heart is black,

   So your sentence is hell-don’t look back.

 

   Before you lose your soul that way;

   Repent of your sins to Jesus today.

   He took your sins from cross to grave

   To give His grace-your soul to save.

 

   Yes, Jesus surely died for you.

   What path will you take-what will you do?

   Confess your sins before it’s too late.

   Repent now – don’t hesitate.
