I was the son of a son of a sailor and it was no surprise that I followed in the footsteps of my Father and Grandfathers when I joined the Navy.
Both of my Grandpa's were officers. My Dad's dad retired as a Captain in the Navy and my Mom's dad was a Colonel in the Air Force.
My Dad's dad taught many on how to fly for the Navy including the actor Robert Taylor. My Mom's Dad was part of Air Force One and also flew in the Hump (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Hump).
