Rescue the perishing...
Our sole reason for coming to Texas passed away at around midnight last night.
Janis Williams, Paula's mom, was very special to us.
We went to see her just recently and she specifically asked for us to get her a bible. I got her one and we spoke about the saving grace of Jesus and she stated how much she wished her children trusted in Him. One of the many things I told her that day was that we now have many reasons to be here in Texas and reaching the family for the sake of Christ and for the sake of their eternal destinies was and always will be a priority for us.
Rescue the perishing, care for the dying,
Snatch them in pity from sin and the grave;
Weep o’er the erring one, lift up the fallen,
Tell them of Jesus, the mighty to save.
Rescue the perishing, care for the dying,
Jesus is merciful, Jesus will save.
Though they are slighting Him, still He is waiting,
Waiting the penitent child to receive;
Plead with them earnestly, plead with them gently;
He will forgive if they only believe.
Rescue the perishing, care for the dying,
Jesus is merciful, Jesus will save.
Down in the human heart, crushed by the tempter,
Feelings lie buried that grace can restore;
Touched by a loving heart, wakened by kindness,
Chords that were broken will vibrate once more.
Rescue the perishing, care for the dying,
Jesus is merciful, Jesus will save.
Rescue the perishing, duty demands it;
Strength for thy labor the Lord will provide;
Back to the narrow way patiently win them;
Tell the poor wand’rer a Savior has died.
Rescue the perishing, care for the dying,
Jesus is merciful, Jesus will save. – By Fanny Crosby
The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. 2 Peter 3:9
And of some have compassion, making a difference: And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh. Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy, To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen. Jude 1:22-25
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. John 3:16-18
The world is going to hate you. Let your light shine brighter as they do by loving them back!
Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you , and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you. Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men. Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven. Matthew 5:10-16 KJV

The Department of Justice Confirmed as a Top Contributor to Sexual Exploitation
THE PROBLEM:
Federal law prohibits distribution of obscene adult pornography on the Internet, on cable/satellite TV, on hotel/motel TV, in retail shops, through the mail, and by common carrier.
The U.S. Supreme Court has also repeatedly upheld obscenity laws against First Amendment challenges, explaining that obscenity is not protected speech.
Even so, the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) refuses to enforce existing federal obscenity laws.
From the time Obama took office in 2008, no enforcement actions against illegal obscenity have been initiated by DOJ, and in 2011 former Attorney General Eric Holder dismantled the Obscenity Prosecution Task Force. See more: http://endsexualexploitation.org/doj/

I say the truth in Christ, I lie not, my conscience also bearing me witness in the Holy Ghost, That I have great heaviness and continual sorrow in my heart. For I could wish that myself were accursed from Christ for my brethren, my kinsmen according to the flesh: Who are Israelites; to whom pertaineth the adoption, and the glory, and the covenants, and the giving of the law, and the service of God , and the promises; Whose are the fathers, and of whom as concerning the flesh Christ came , who is over all, God blessed for ever. Twins everywhere lately
I was taking pictures at a birthday party this last weekend for my wife's cousin's twins who just turned one. They have friends who live in their neighborhood who also have twins. In this picture there are four sets of identical twins and one set of non-identical twins.
More baby Turkey Vultures in Round Rock
A group of vultures is called a …committee (Wikipedia)
This couple has once again returned to the Dell campus in Round Rock for the fourth year now. The mother has laid yet another set of twins and we are blessed to watch.
ETA for hatching should be as soon as March 13th or as late as March 23rd. The estimated hatch time is 30 to 40 days after laying. This is an estimation based off of the earliest lay date possible being around 2/12. That was when the mother was first seen sitting on the nest.

CS Lewis: a sampling of his perverted mysticism
The snippet further below is from chapter 11 in The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe.
Note: At first I thought it may have been an accidental coincidence that the following wording seemed sexual in nature but there are too many instances here to conclude otherwise. Occult vernacular is also riddled throughout. It is commonplace in the occult to utilize sexual ideologies through practices and communications as such. One may find room within some sort of twisted reasoning to dismiss the potential sexual overtones of the following but the occult vernacular is present and undeniable regardless.
"Are you my councillor or my slave?" said the Witch. "Do as you're told. Tie the hands of the human creature behind it and keep hold of the end of the rope. And take your whip. And cut the harness of the reindeer; they'll find their own way home." The dwarf obeyed, and in a few minutes Edmund found himself being forced to walk as fast as he could with his hands tied behind him. He kept on slipping in the slush and mud and wet grass, and every time he slipped the dwarf gave him a curse and sometimes a flick with the whip. The Witch walked behind the dwarf and kept on saying, "Faster! Faster!" Every moment the patches of green grew bigger and the patches of spow grew smaller. Every moment more and more of the trees shook off their robes of snow. Soon, wherever you looked, instead of white shapes you saw the dark green of firs or the black prickly branches of bareoaks and beeches and elms. Then the mist turned from white to gold and presently cleared away altogether. Shafts of delicious sunlight struck down on to the forest floor and overhead you could see a blue sky between the tree tops.
GLOBAL COLLAPSE & THE MARK OF THE BEAST -- BILL HOLTER
Bill Holter from JS Mineset is back to help us document the collapse. As global credit markets seize up, US stock market breadth becomes abysmal, and Deutsche Bank goes on death watch, Bill and I recount the latest quantifiable news pointing to a cascading global economic collapse. And Bill says, the cashless society is coming into view as increasingly desperate bankers seek to keep humanity chained to dying criminal banking institutions. “We are headed toward the Mark of the Beast,” Bill says. If the Bankers are allowed to get their way, “You’re not going to be able to do business without some kind of card, or some kind of chip.”

CS Lewis was Satan's Tool. Hear me out on this...
CS Lewis was and still is Satan's tool. Give me some time here to definitively demonstrate what I am saying here...
He that answereth a matter before he heareth it, it is folly and shame unto him. Proverbs 18:13
One cannot take things, in this case words and concepts, that God abhors and justify them as an imaginative method in telling or in this case the retelling of "Godly" and/or "Biblical" concepts.
If God hates something, we ought not play with it, even in our imaginations. No, especially in our imaginations. Out of the heart the mouth speaks...(Mathew 12:34). We are to think upon only pure and good things (Philippians 4:8).
Think about this, pornography, is technically “imagination”. A lot of people try to justify it as it is 'only in the person’s mind' and as long as they do not act on the thoughts physically then they are “OK”. Jesus emphatically declared quite the contrary!
“But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart.” Matthew 5:28
I am currently doing a deeper dive and study on CS Lewis’ work, the Chronicles of Narnia where I am pulling out all the occult vernacular that he uses to tell this story. People want to justify as spiritually OK as in their assessment they see it as an innocent retelling of the Biblical story of the battle between God's ultimate good verses Satan's evil schemes. Only Satan would agree that this assessment is OK.
The following snippet was taken from chapter 14 of the Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe. CS Lewis apparently attempts here to be humorous in stating that he supposedly held back describing certain things because if he did then “the grownups would probably not let you read this book”. He actually included more than enough where any Bible believing, born again, sincere follower of Jesus Christ, should not allow their children to read not just this work but any work from this ungodly man that the world tries to pass off as a supposed great theologian of sorts....It is not ad hominem here to say that one should look into what his closest associates described him as including his habits, etc. When discussing whether something or someone is of a Christian nature their personal walks and works are very much in need of examining (yes, judging...!). By their fruits you will know them...
But the important thing to remember here is that his works alone demonstrate enough in that he had an ungodly fixation with the darker worlds of mysticism (the occult)...
“Ogres with monstrous teeth, and wolves, and bull-headed men; spirits of evil trees and poisonous plants; and other creatures whom I won't describe because if I did the grownups would probably not let you read this book - Cruels and Hags and Incubuses, Wraiths, Horrors, Efreets, Sprites, Orknies, Wooses, and Ettins. In fact here were all those who were
on the Witch's side and whom the Wolf had summoned at her command. And right in the middle, standing by the Table, was the Witch herself.”
Some definitions (from occult related resources, etc on the internet) of some of the occult vernacular that CS Lewis uses are in order here for the uninformed. Keep in mind that this collection of works uses the occult vernacular throughout:
Ogre in folklore: a man-eating giant.
An incubus is a demon in male form who, according to mythological and legendary traditions, lies upon women in order to engage in sexual activity with them. Its female counterpart is a succubus.
A hag is a wizened old woman, or a kind of fairy or goddess having the appearance of such a woman, often found in folklore and children's tales such as Hansel and Gretel. Hags are often seen as malevolent, but may also be one of the chosen forms of shapeshifting deities, such as the MorrÃgan or Badb, who are seen as neither wholly beneficent nor malevolent.
A Wraith is a ghost or ghostlike image of someone, especially one seen shortly before or after their death.
Efreets are unpredictable creatures with fiery forms and spectacular magical powers. They are a type of genie native to the Elemental Plane of Fire. The efreet are genies from the Plane of Fire. An efreeti stands about 12 feet tall and weighs 2,000 pounds.
A sprite is a supernatural legendary creature. They are often depicted as fairy, ghost and/or elf-like creatures.
In the Dungeons & Dragons fantasy role-playing game, the Ettin is a giant-like creature. The creatures' name derives from Old English eoten 'giant', a word cognate with the Jötunn giants of Norse mythology.
The point here is that we do not need to use the tools of the occult to tell God’s story as we already have the Bible. Using things that God says are an abomination to Him in order to retell His story in any capacity is an insult to God and goes contrary to His character. He hates these things.
As per God speaking through the profit Haggai, we cannot take something dead or unclean and just call it good because we want it to be good. If it is dead and we mess with it we are dead (unclean) ourselves...
Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Ask now the priests concerning the law, saying, If one bear holy flesh in the skirt of his garment, and with his skirt do touch bread, or pottage, or wine, or oil, or any meat, shall it be holy? And the priests answered and said, No. Then said Haggai, If one that is unclean by a dead body touch any of these, shall it be unclean? And the priests answered and said, It shall be unclean. Then answered Haggai, and said, So is this people, and so is this nation before me, saith the LORD; and so is every work of their hands; and that which they offer there is unclean. Haggai 2:11-14
As already mentioned, if God abhors something, we ought not to mess with it whether in our imaginations or at any level for that matter. Anything that God calls as an abomination we are not at liberty to use no matter what we try to pass it off as. For the true Christian the ends do not justify the means in this manner...
When thou art come into the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee, thou shalt not learn to do after the abominations of those nations. There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch, Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For all that do these things are an abomination unto the LORD: and because of these abominations the LORD thy God doth drive them out from before thee. Thou shalt be perfect with the LORD thy God. Deuteronomy 18:10-13
Sadly enough, whether intentional or not, what CS Lewis has done is introduced generations of souls (whom Jesus Christ died for...) to the occult through his literature very much in the same that Francis Bacon, Shakespeare and others in the past introduced political ideals to the masses within their works...

What can be done to reach a country that rejects Jesus?
It is safe to say that Jews have astonishingly more freedom and equality here in the US than a Christian does in Israel.
As a Christan it causes me to question what 'ally' truly means.
What can we do to reach those who continue to reject Jesus Christ?

Mike Farris: I’m Mike Farris from HSLDA. And we’ve extended an open invitation to all of the current presidential candidates to talk with us about their candidacy and their views on the federal government’s role in education and related topics.
Our guest today—very special guest—is Senator Ted Cruz from Texas. Senator, welcome to the program!
Sen. Ted Cruz: Well Mike, thank you for having me, and thank you for your long and passionate defense of the right of every parent to educate our children and to teach them our values and our faith—I’m proud. You and I have been friends for many, many years, and I’m so proud of your relentless and passionate defense of parents and children all across this country.
Mike: That’s very kind of you, Senator. And I reciprocate those kind remarks by thanking you for being my friend for a long time, and being a friend of homeschooling.
I’d like to ask you first: Why are you running for president?
Sen. Cruz: Well, I’m running for president because our country is in crisis. We have gotten away from the principles and values that built this country. We have gotten away from the free market principles and constitutional liberties and Judeo-Christian values that have been the foundation of making America the greatest nation in the history of the world. And we are, right now, badly off track. We’re bankrupting our kids and grandkids, we’re seeing our constitutional rights under assault from Washington each and every day. And we’ve seen America recede from leadership of the world. And it’s made the world a much more dangerous place. And I’ll tell you, right now I fear for the country that my daughters are inheriting if we keep on this path. And so I’m running to bring us back to the principles that built America, and to reignite the promise of America.
Mike: Senator, I know that we share a common faith in Christ. Will you tell us what role your faith will play in your service as president?
Sen. Cruz: Well, sure. I’m a Christian—it’s an integral part of who I am. I became a Christian when I was 8 years old at the summer youth camp of Clay Road Baptist Church. And it is—being born again, being saved by the redeeming blood of Jesus—is central to who I am. It’s central to my family. My wife Heidi is the daughter of Christian missionaries. She lived as a little girl two different times in Africa when her parents were missionaries over there. And it impacts every aspect of my life.
Now that being said, I am running for public office, and the public office that I’m running for is not to be pastor-in-chief. And so it’s not the responsibility of a civic official to be delivering the salvation message—that’s our responsibility individually as Christians, the responsibility of pastors and of the church. But my responsibility both as a United States Senator, and if I’m elected president, is to defend the constitutional rights of every American. To fight for every American so that we have the freedom to achieve the American dream. To achieve the hopes and dreams of our kids and our grandkids, and to keep this country safe. The very first responsibility of the president is to protect America and keep this country safe. And as commander-in-chief, that’s exactly what I intend to do.
Mike: Turning to the issue of education, what role do you think the federal government should have in the subject of education—particularly how it affects both private schools and homeschools?
Sen. Cruz: Well, I don’t think the federal government should have any role in education. I am a constitutionalist, and I have spent my entire adult life fighting to defend the Constitution and fighting to defend the Bill of Rights. Under the Tenth Amendment, the powers not given to the federal government are reserved to the states and to the people. And so if I’m elected president, in the very first days in office, I intend to instruct the federal Department of Education that Common Core ends that day. Now, the reason that that can be accomplished is because Barack Obama has abused executive power in forcing Common Core on the states. And particularly the Department of Education has used the Race to the Top fund to effectively blackmail or bribe the states to adopt the Common Core standards. That will end in the opening days of January of next year if I am elected.
Beyond that, I believe we should abolish the federal Department of Education altogether—that we ought to block-grant that money, send it back to the states, send it to the local governments. And you know sometimes, folks in the press will characterize those of us who want to end the federal role in education as somehow being opposed to education. But you know, Mike, it’s exactly the opposite. Education is too important, I believe, for it to be governed by unelected bureaucrats in Washington. It needs to be at the state level, or even better at the local level, where parents have direct control over the education of our kids.
Mike: What has been your personal experience with homeschooling families, and your view of homeschooling in general?
Sen. Cruz: I have been blessed to have had the support of homeschoolers in Texas and throughout the country from the very beginning. Homeschoolers were critical to my being elected to the Senate in the state of Texas. And we have nationally a coalition of over 6,000 homeschool leaders nationwide who have joined our coalition. I would mention to anyone listening, it you want to be part of the homeschool coalition, you can sign up at TedCruz.org.
Now, the individual who led our team in Iowa, a former pastor named Brian English, was a homeschooler. Many members of our staff and political team are homeschoolers. And it is because the fundamental liberty each of us has to teach our children, to raise our children—the right of the parent, I believe, should not be superseded by government. And I have spent decades fighting to defend the rights of parents, and fighting to defend school choice. I think school choice is the civil rights issue of the 21st century. And I think school choice should include all of the above. Every form of school choice, whether it’s public schools or charter schools or private schools or parochial schools or scholarships or tax credits or homeschooling. I think all of the forms of school choice are choices that parents are entitled to make, that they should be able to make, and that the federal government should not be doing anything to frustrate their ability to ensure that their children get the very best education possible. Because education is foundational to opportunity, to access to the American dream.
Mike: Senator, there have been a few self-described researchers who’ve expressed concerns about the bill that you are a co-sponsor of, sponsored by our good friend Mike Lee, Senate Bill 306—that gives homeschoolers fair and equal access to savings accounts, the ability to participate in the Coverdell savings account programs. Can you respond to these criticisms: that people claim that the language of this bill would give the federal government the power to change definitions of homeschooling, and run away with federal control, and homeschool liberties would be abused by this bill that you and Mike Lee are supporting?
Sen. Cruz: Well sure, Mike, and I appreciate your raising that. As you know, those allegations are baseless, and they are being pushed primarily by a blogger or two who appear to be supporting Donald Trump and trying to spread misinformation. The legislation is legislation that Senator Mike Lee has introduced, who is a passionate supporter of homeschooling, as am I. And it’s legislation that simply eliminates the discrimination against homeschoolers currently in education savings accounts, so that if individuals choose to save their own money for educational purposes, they are allowed to spend their own money on homeschooling. And there’s no reason that federal law should discriminate against homeschoolers and treat them as second-class citizens. And as you know, the Home School Legal Defense Association has actively supported that legislation for a number of years, has spoken out in favor of eliminating discrimination against homeschoolers. And nothing in that legislation would open the door to even the teeniest bit of government regulation—and if it would, I would oppose it. I do not think the government has any business regulating homeschoolers, restricting their fundamental parental liberty. And allowing people to spend their own money in an education savings account to educate their kids is entirely consistent with that.
Mike: Senator, I know that we stood shoulder-to-shoulder to stop the loss of American sovereignty and the loss of families to be able to control their own destiny—families with disabilities—when we opposed the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities. Can you tell us your general approach to these various UN conventions that have great-sounding names—Convention on the Rights of the Child, [the] disabilities treaty, CEDAW, the other cluster of UN human rights treaties—and their impact on America sovereignty? What’s your position on all of that?
Sen. Cruz: Well, I am passionately opposed to anything that would undermine American sovereignty. And unfortunately one of the patterns that we have seen more and more from the Left is efforts to go to international treaties, to go to international law, and to try to use them to undermine the constitutional rights of Americans, to undermine our Bill of Rights. And before I was in the Senate, I was the Solicitor General of Texas—which is the chief lawyer for the state in front of the U.S. Supreme Court. And in that role—I held that position five-and-a-half years—we led the nation defending conservative principles nationally. So we defended the Ten Commandments on the state capitol grounds, went to the Supreme Court—we won 5–4. We defended the Pledge of Allegiance, the words “one nation under God,” went to the Supreme Court and we won unanimously. And the biggest case of my tenure was a case called Medellin v. Texas, where we stood up and fought the United Nations and the World court, where the World court issued an order trying to order the United States justice system to re-open the convictions of 51 murderers across this country. And Texas stood up and fought the UN and the world court. I argued this case twice in front of the U.S. Supreme Court. On the other side, we had 90 foreign nations, we had the United Nations, we had the World court, and sadly we had the president of the United States. And Texas stood and fought to defend U.S. sovereignty. And we won 6–3, with the Supreme Court striking down the World court’s order.
And indeed, right after I was elected to the Senate, the Senate began taking on the treaty on disabilities. And I was newly elected, but hadn’t been sworn in yet, and one of the very first things that I did as a newly elected senator is: [I] argued vociferously to my colleagues in the Senate that they should not confirm this treaty, they should not ratify this treaty, because it could have the effect of undermining the rights of parents, undermining the rights of homeschoolers, and putting international law and international obligations in a superior position to the rights of Americans. And I’m glad to say that the arguments I raised passionately with my colleagues prevailed, and the Senate declined to ratify that treaty. And I intend to oppose any treaty that undermines American sovereignty or in any way jeopardizes the constitutional rights of Americans.
Mike: Well, Senator, to support what you have said relative to the importance of the Medellin case: at Patrick Henry College, in Constitutional Law, we study the Medellin case for a great example of how international law should be treated in the American court system. So congratulations on that victory, it’s very important to our country.
Sen. Cruz: Thank you.
Mike: Last question is concerning the concerning the Convention of States. Governor Greg Abbott, your former colleague there in Texas, has come out strongly in favor of the Convention of State application. What’s your view on the Article V Convention of States?
Sen. Cruz: Well Greg Abbott, our governor, is a dear friend and mentor. He was my boss when I was Solicitor General—he was the Attorney General. And he and I have been very, very close for over a decade—he’s a man of great principle and integrity. And I think his support for Convention of States is a manifestation of the growing movement behind that drive. And in particular there has been growing pressure from the people for Congress to pass, number one, a balanced budget amendment—to mandate that Congress stop bankrupting our kids and grandkids, stop driving up the federal debt; and number two, for Congress to enact term limits—ideally term limits for both members of Congress, and for Supreme Court justices. Now I am pushing for both of those amendments—a balanced budget amendment and term limits. Right now, Congress is refusing to listen to the people—it is refusing to pass those amendments and send it to the states. The Constitution, in Article V, gives a mechanism to the people to hold Congress accountable, and namely, that is calling a Convention of the States, if Congress will not listen to the pressure to introduce constitutional amendments. I believe one of two things is going to happen: either Congress will pass a balanced budget amendment and term limits amendment, and send them to the states for ratification; or I believe the movement will keep growing and growing and we will have a Convention of the States. One way or another, we are going to see these amendments proposed, and I intend to continue to fight to make that happen.
Mike: So I take it that you support what Governor Abbott is doing in getting states right now to call the convention, to pass applications so that we can continue to put pressure on the system?
Sen. Cruz: What governor Abbott is doing, and what so many others including Mark Levine are doing across the country, is increasing the pressure on Congress to listen to the American people. And I think increasing the pressure on Congress is a very good thing, and I intend to keep pressing for this, and as president to use every power within my authority to press Congress to pass a strong balanced budget amendment and to pass term limits.
Mike: Senator, thank you so much for spending time with us today. We appreciate that, and we appreciate the willingness to share your views with homeschoolers across this country. God bless you.
Sen. Cruz: Mike, I enjoyed visiting with you, and thank you again for your tremendous leadership and fighting for our liberties each and every day.
Mike: Ted, take care. Be safe on the road, okay?
Sen. Cruz: Thank you my friend, I look forward to seeing you soon.

Perspectives....
A writer was in his study. He picked up his pen and began writing:
** Last year, my gall bladder was removed. I was stuck in bed due to this surgery for a long time.
** The same year I reached the age of 60 and had to give up my favorite job. I had spent 30 years of my life with this publishing company.
** The same year I experienced the death of my father.
** In the same year my son failed in his medical exam because he had a car accident. He had to stay in the hospital with a cast on his leg for several days.
** And the destruction of my car was a second loss.
His concluding statement was “Alas! It was such bad year!!”
When the writer's wife entered the room, she found her husband looking dejected, sad and lost in his thoughts.
She carefully and surreptitiously read what he had written, and silently left the room and came back shortly with another piece of paper on which she had written her summary of the same year’s events and placed it beside her husband’s paper.
Her husband saw that she had written something in response – he read her “take” on the year’s events:
She wrote:
** Last year I finally got rid of my gall bladder which had given me many years of pain.
** I turned 60 with sound health and retired from my job. Now I can utilize my time to write better and with more focus and peace.
** The same year my father, at the age of 95 without depending on anyone and without any critical conditions, met his Creator.
** The same year, God blessed my son with life. My car was
destroyed, but my son was alive and without permanent disability.
At the end she wrote: This year was an immense blessing and it passed well!!
The same incidents but different viewpoints.
In daily lives we can see that it’s not happiness that makes us grateful, but gratefulness that makes us happy.
There is always something to be thankful for.

The Rebuilding of Two Famous Boats...Which one are you on?
One of these ships succeeded in it's mission while the other failed miserably...
One was built by man at the command of God and it was unsinkable in the worst conditions ever seen on the waters of earth.
The other was built by man under their prideful arrogance. They said that even God could not sink this ship. This ship sank and many on it perished.
Today both are in different stages of being rebuilt but only one of these reflect back on the awesomeness of God in His saving grace for those who choose to love and obey Him.
The other only reflects the failed arrogance of men.
In your life today, which boat are you on?

Sign of the Times: Supreme Court Justices Religious Affiliations: They are not Christian by Biblical definitions...
John Paul Stevens is reported to be the last so-called Protestant to sit on the bench. When he retired in 2010 the bench was occupied by only non-Biblical Christians and Jews. Reportedly this is the fist time in the history of this bench that this has occurred.
By Biblical definition Catholics are not Christian and certainly those of the non-Christian Jewish persuasion are not either per John's first epistle (see below). Also note that Antonin Scalia, who just died, was also Catholic.
Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son. Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: but he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also. 1 John 2:22-23
While Catholics define themselves as Christian and Jews define themselves as Children of Abraham (God's chosen people) both of their practices alienate them from what is considered as true Christian faith as per Biblical definitions. One of many of these is the practice of having Fathers and Rabbis where Jesus said specifically not to do this in the Spiritual sense that both the Catholic as well as the Jews do.
But be not ye called Rabbi: for one is your Master, even Christ; and all ye are brethren. And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven. Matthew 23:8-9
They are both guilty of having intercessors between God and man who are not Jesus Christ. Only Jesus can intercede for us....

Two paths to take in viewing history, conspiratorial or accidental...
As a Christian I am honest with the method that I choose to view history from and that would be that history is but one conspiracy after another. The Bible begins with the greatest of conspiracies against God in the third chapter of Genesis. Then we see man's greatest conspiracy and that was when we put the Son of God to death.
These behaviors, as per the Bible, will only increase in intensity. Men will continue to conspire against each other and against God until the final trumpet. Then God's wrath will commence and a purge like no other will begin.
"We must choose between two paths. Either we conclude that Americans have lost control over their government or we reject this information as a mere distortion of history. In the first case we become advocates of the conspiratorial view of history in the later we endorse the accidental view. It is a difficult choice. The reason it is difficult is that we have been conditioned to laugh at conspiracy theories, and few people will risk public ridicule by advocating them. On the other hand, to endorse the accidental view is absurd. Almost all of history is an unbroken trail of one conspiracy after another. Conspiracies are the norm, not the exception." - G. Edward Griffin 1995

Muhammad: The White Prophet with Black Slaves (David Wood)
Next time anyone tries to pass off Islam as being a religion of peace this information regarding it's founder should add spice to that conversation. Most who want to support Islam as a so-called good religion should be honest in admitting that its founder was not a good man by any standard.

We can prove the existence of God from the impossibility of the contrary...
"When we go to look at the different world views that atheists and theists have, I suggest we can prove the existence of God from the impossibility of the contrary. The transcendental proof for God's existence is that without Him it is impossible to prove anything. The atheist world view is irrational and cannot consistently provide the preconditions of intelligible experience, science, logic, or morality. The atheist world view cannot allow for laws of logic, the uniformity of nature, the ability for the mind to understand the world, and moral absolutes". - Dr. Greg Bahnsen

The core problem with the teachings of today's dispensationalists: The Pre-Trib Rapture
The problem with dispensationalism is that there is nothing in the Bible that clearly gives us the interpreted divisions of the future of the church and the world that modern day dispensationalists popularly adhere to today.
The main concern in this is with the idea of the so-called pretrib rapture.
John Nelson Darby conjured up the idea dispensationalism with the focus around the so-called pre-trip rapture concept somewhere around 1830. Since then Scofield, the Dallas Theological Seminary, Bob Jones University, Hal Lindsey, Tim LaHaye, Jack Van Impe, Harold Camping, Randy White, Paul Scharf and many others have pushed this idea within the modern Christian church.
One will be hard pressed to find pre-trib teachings within the church prior to 1830...that in and of itself says a lot but the Bible has more to say against this idea, more to come...
This component of so-called dispensationalism, the so-called pre-trib rapture, is a dangerous idea that gives believers a false hope and a selfish excitement that they will be pulled out when things get too bad. It causes a sense of complacency of sorts in that folks just sit back waiting to be pulled out of this world without doing any real world for the Lord in the meantime. I am cutting and pasting and editing some of the past studies I put together on this below that speaks to this unbiblical doctrine, the pre-trib rapture, that was born out of the unbiblical idea of dispensationalism.
Recently someone gave me a link to consider in light of this that has prompted me in putting this out once more. At the very onset the writers of the blog/site deviates into dangerous and unbiblical territory involving specifically the dangerous heresy of the pre-trib rapture.
http://dispensationalpublishing.com/about-us/what-is-dispensationalism/ “Dispensationalism...When applied consistently, such a literal interpretation yields a futurist, premillennial, pre-tribulational understanding of Bible prophecy that fully recognizes the important distinction between Israel and the church.”. This cannot be further from the truth as I will demonstrate below.
With the reboot and release of the “Left Behind” movie I dug into this subject so that my dear friends and family would not continue to fall into the delusion that is so prevalent in our modern churches.
This is the same delusion I was in for a better portion of my current life.
I pulled out all the instances of tribulation and tribulations from the Bible and summarized the contextual message regarding their usage in every instance. It is amazing that not one single one of these verses can be used to prop up the pre-trib doctrine. I have also utilized other verses to emphasize the correct context of these verses and to show that the Bible cannot justify this line of thinking. God’s word actually gives a very strong warning in going astray from Biblical truths regarding prophecy. That will be discussed at the very end of this study. All in all this is a very serious matter per the Bible so it warrants our attention.
I am also currently doing a study on some conservative church’s doctrines regarding their pre-trib position and am finding the same exact thing. One has to do much mental contortions in and around the scriptures in order to weakly prop up a pre-trib position. This is a sad thing when the Bible is very clear on this matter as will be noted below.
Keep in mind as you are reading this progression of events that you will see over and over throughout scripture. The sun and moon will be darkened, there will be a trump(et) and a very visible appearing of Jesus to gather His elect, the believers. You see this in Matthew, Mark, Luke, John (Revelation) and Paul’s writings. Right after that God’s wrath is unleased.
As always, use Proverbs 18:13 as your guide in jumping to conclusions before hearing the entire matter.
I call heaven and earth to witness against you this day, that ye shall soon utterly perish from off the land whereunto ye go over Jordan to possess it; ye shall not prolong your days upon it, but shall utterly be destroyed. [27] And the Lord shall scatter you among the nations, and ye shall be left few in number among the heathen, whither the Lord shall lead you. [28] And there ye shall serve gods, the work of men's hands, wood and stone, which neither see, nor hear, nor eat, nor smell. [29] But if from thence thou shalt seek the Lord thy God, thou shalt find him , if thou seek him with all thy heart and with all thy soul. [30] When thou art in tribulation, and all these things are come upon thee, even in the latter days, if thou turn to the Lord thy God, and shalt be obedient unto his voice; [31] (For the Lord thy God is a merciful God;) he will not forsake thee, neither destroy thee, nor forget the covenant of thy fathers which he sware unto them. Deuteronomy 4:26-31 KJV
The Jews are told that one day they will be scattered away from their land and would serve other gods. They are told that during times of tribulation even the end time tribulation that if they turn back to God then they would be spared His wrath. This does not say that God would spare them from tribulation that comes from man.
This does not say that believers would be taken out of the end time tribulation which is the anti-christ's war on the saints or as the Bible calls it, the great tribulation.
Go and cry unto the gods which ye have chosen; let them deliver you in the time of your tribulation. Judges 10:14 KJV
This is a challenge on nonbelievers to see if their god's can deliver them out of tribulation.
This was not directed towards believers. This does not say that believers would be taken out of the end time tribulation which is the anti-christ's war on the saints or as the Bible calls it, the great tribulation.
And ye have this day rejected your God, who himself saved you out of all your adversities and your tribulations; and ye have said unto him, Nay , but set a king over us. Now therefore present yourselves before the Lord by your tribes, and by your thousands. 1 Samuel 10:19 KJV
This does not say that believers would be taken out of the end time tribulation which is the anti-christ's war on the saints or as the Bible calls it, the great tribulation.
And, behold, as thy life was much set by this day in mine eyes, so let my life be much set by in the eyes of the Lord , and let him deliver me out of all tribulation. 1 Samuel 26:24 KJV
This does not say that believers would be taken out of the end time tribulation which is the anti-christ's war on the saints or as the Bible calls it, the great tribulation.
Yet hath he not root in himself, but dureth for a while: for when tribulation or persecution ariseth because of the word, by and by he is offended.Matthew 13:21 KJV

This does not say that believers would be taken out of the end time tribulation which is the anti-christ's war on the saints or as the Bible calls it, the great tribulation. See the following verses for more details.
For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. [29] Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: Matthew 24:21, 29 KJV
After the great tribulation the sun and moon are darkened then Jesus comes again to be seen by all and gather the elect. This is the first and only gathering up of the saints (rapture) and it is after the great tribulation on the saints. This is also noted in Mark's report on this these coming events.
This does not say that believers would be taken out of the end time tribulation which is the anti-christ's war on the saints or as the Bible calls it, the great tribulation.
For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. [30] And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. [31] And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other. Matthew 24:27, 30-31 KJV
This does not say that believers would be taken out of the end time tribulation which is the anti-christ's war on the saints or as the Bible calls it, the great tribulation.

In verse 27 some folks try to say the elect are the Jews. Keeping this in context the elect are not the Jews and Jesus did not intend for this to be only for the Jews. In Mark 13:37 Jesus states specifically this was not just for the Jews but it was for all to hear.
And what I say unto you I say unto all, Watch. Mark 13:37 KJV
As far as who the elect are and are not Paul clearly identified this in Romans 11:7 and for certain the Jews without Jesus are not the elect.
What then? Israel hath not obtained that which he seeketh for; but the election hath obtained it, and the rest were blinded. Romans 11:7

Tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that doeth evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile; Romans 2:9 KJV
Read all of the verses before and after for the correct context. In Romans 2:11 Paul said
"For there is no respect of persons with God". These verses are saying collectively that God's grace and judgement is not based on whether you are a Jew or not but on one's obedience to righteousness and their desire for eternal life (see vs. 7 and 8). This righteousness per the entire council of God's word is in Jesus alone. Eternal life is through Jesus alone.

Great is my boldness of speech toward you, great is my glorying of you: I am filled with comfort, I am exceeding joyful in all our tribulation. 2 Corinthians 7:4 KJV
Paul is specifically speaking of their current tribulations and not the coming great tribulation.

Wherefore I desire that ye faint not at my tribulations for you, which is your glory. Ephesians 3:13 KJV

So that we ourselves glory in you in the churches of God for your patience and faith in all your persecutions and tribulations that ye endure: [6] Seeing it is a righteous thing with God to recompense tribulation to them that trouble you; 2 Thessalonians 1:4, 6 KJV
Paul is specifically speaking of their current tribulations and not the coming great tribulation.
This does not say that believers would be taken out of the end time tribulation which is the anti-christ's war on the saints or as the Bible calls it, the great tribulation.
This does mention God bringing tribulation back upon the men who cause tribulation to His Saints but in no way does this equate to the rapture occurring before the tribulation that will be brought upon the Saints in the last days by men under the power of the anti-Christ.
I John, who also am your brother, and companion in tribulation, and in the kingdom and patience of Jesus Christ, was in the isle that is called Patmos, for the word of God, and for the testimony of Jesus Christ. Revelation 1:9 KJV
John is specifically speaking of his current tribulation on the island that he was exiled to and not the coming great tribulation.
This does not say that believers would be taken out of the end time tribulation which is the anti-christ's war on the saints or as the Bible calls it, the great tribulation.
I know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty, (but thou art rich) and I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan. [10] Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life. [22] Behold, I will cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into great tribulation, except they repent of their deeds. Revelation 2:9-10, 22 KJV
This is talking of future tribulation for this specific church and in no way supports a pre-trib rapture concept but does actually signify that saints will go through tribulation such as what Jesus said in John 16:33: “These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.”
And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. Revelation 7:14 KJV
The Great Tribulation as Jesus referred to in Matthew 24:21 was before the sun and moon being darkened. Jesus said in verse 29 “Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light”. In the next verses, verses 30 and 31 the next things that will happen will be that Jesus will come and the world will not be in any doubt as to who this is and He will gather his elect, the believers from all over the world and then God’s wrath will come next upon the world as we see at the end of Revelation 6. The fact is also seen in this passage that the sun and moon will be darkened prior to God’s wrath being released upon the earth.
This is the disconnect that the pre-tribualation line of reasoning fails to explain. The believers will not just vanish with no sign of Jesus but instead this will be a highly visible event and there will be no doubt who is coming and who takes that saints and then they will be certain that it is the Lamb, see vs 16 below, who is bringing on the Wrath of God.
The disconnect is that the tribulation brought upon the saints by the anit-christ and his armies is not at all the same as the wrath of God. The Wrath of God is the not the Great Tribulation that Jesus spoke of in Matthew and throughout the Gospels. Yes God will not pour out His wrath on His children but the anti-Christ will and teaching the pre-tribulation message is leaving many people out there with a selfish assurance that they will not have to suffer. It is sad that this mentality is so popular in our comfortable western world lifestyle while brothers and sisters in Christ are dying daily for their faith around the world (China, India, Middle East, etc).
And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth? And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled. And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood; And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind. And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places. And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains; And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb: For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand? Revelation 6:10-17
Another thing to weigh heavily when propping up a prophetic position with no clear scriptural evidence is what Moses told the people regarding how to judge a false prophet and how God feels about these as well in Deuteronomy 18 verses 20 through 22. If what the prophet says does not come to pass in then they are to be put to death. We really need to be careful and repent if we are not preparing the saints appropriately for daily and future tribulations.
But the prophet, which shall presume to speak a word in my name, which I have not commanded him to speak, or that shall speak in the name of other gods, even that prophet shall die. And if thou say in thine heart, How shall we know the word which the LORD hath not spoken? When a prophet speaketh in the name of the LORD, if the thing follow not, nor come to pass, that is the thing which the LORD hath not spoken, but the prophet hath spoken it presumptuously: thou shalt not be afraid of him. Deuteronomy 18:20-22
The following highlights the danger that dispensational ideas such as the pre-Trib Rapture brings to the modern church.
More on the tribulation verses the wrath of God...
Too many Christians today, especially in the USA, have two very important biblical concepts confused. They mistake tribulation (man on man such as the great tribulation) with the wrath of God which is God's wrath on the non-believers especially in the last days.
For those who are giddy and excited about being raptured up before the great tribulation ought to go back and study the Bible more and understand that the great tribulation will be prior to God taking anyone out.
Case in point is seen in what has happened last year in Kenya. This is a prime example of tribulation that occurs to those who refuse to deny Jesus, even when death is immanent. This is the wrath of man upon man and not the wrath of God upon non-believers. There is a huge difference and people need to get this straight so we can stop giving people the wrong expectations as to what is coming (I.e. Left Behind, etc).
Tribulation on believers in the news today (see http://www.foxnews.com/world/2015/04/02/garissa-attack-kenya.html)
Exert from the news story:
Collins Wetangula, the vice chairman of the student union, said when the gunmen arrived at his dormitory he could hear them opening doors and asking if the people who had hidden inside whether they were Muslims or Christians.
"If you were a Christian you were shot on the spot," he said. "With each blast of the gun I thought I was going to die."
So, if you cannot live for Him today, then how will you die for Him tomorrow?
Here is some more regarding the difference between the wrath of God and Tribulation... Tribulation does not equal God’s wrath as per the Bible.
Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other. Matthew 24:29-31
Note: After this the wrath of God is poured out upon the earth.
But in those days, after that tribulation, the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, And the stars of heaven shall fall, and the powers that are in heaven shall be shaken. And then shall they see the Son of man coming in the clouds with great power and glory. And then shall he send his angels, and shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from the uttermost part of the earth to the uttermost part of heaven. Mark 13:24-27
Note: After this the wrath of God is poured out upon the earth.
And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring; Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken. And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh. Luke 21:25-28
Note: After this the wrath of God is poured out upon the earth.
And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood. Revelation 6:12
Note: After this the wrath of God is poured out upon the earth.
Do you see the trend yet, the context? Do you see that the things that take place before these passages are the Tribulation and that is the wrath of man and Satan upon the saints? After the sixth seal is opened God begins to pour out His wrath on the non-believers.
Tribulation does not equal God’s wrath as per the Bible.
People get ready, something big is about to come. When the antichrist and those opposed to God bring tribulation upon the true Christians, after that God’s wrath will be poured out upon the earth.
The believers will be pulled out after the tribulation and before God’s wrath.
And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held: And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth? And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled. Revelation 6:9-11
Again, if you cannot live for Him today, then how do you expect to live for Him tomorrow?
If you are living for Him today then your lamps are full and ready. Well done believer.
Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom. And five of them were wise, and five were foolish. They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them: But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps. While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept. And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him. Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps. And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out. But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves. And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut. Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us. But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not. Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh. Matthew 25:1-13
Please note on the above passage that not knowing when the Son of man cometh does not mean he will come before the tribulation. This was clearly explained previously.
In conclusion we must be careful to not read into scriptures more than what we are given. Context is critical and going outside of what was intended is deviating from God’s word and there is much danger in doing so.
If you are only waiting selfishly to be pulled out of this world before it gets too bad you will be greatly disappointed as times are already starting to turn hard against the true church and there is much tribulation upon believers across the world already...but the worse is yet to come....

Great is my boldness of speech toward you, great is my glorying of you: I am filled with comfort, I am exceeding joyful in all our tribulation. 2 Corinthians 7:4 KJV
Paul is specifically speaking of their current tribulations and not the coming great tribulation.
This does not say that believers would be taken out of the end time tribulation which is the anti-christ's war on the saints or as the Bible calls it, the great tribulation.
Wherefore I desire that ye faint not at my tribulations for you, which is your glory. Ephesians 3:13 KJV
Paul is specifically speaking of his current tribulations and not the coming great tribulation.
This does not say that believers would be taken out of the end time tribulation which is the anti-christ's war on the saints or as the Bible calls it, the great tribulation.
For verily, when we were with you, we told you before that we should suffer tribulation; even as it came to pass, and ye know. 1 Thessalonians 3:4 KJV
Paul is specifically speaking of their current tribulations and not the coming great tribulation.
This does not say that believers would be taken out of the end time tribulation which is the anti-christ's war on the saints or as the Bible calls it, the great tribulation.
