Do you think Christians ought not to be overly critical and judgmental?

If this is you then the Bible says you are not doing it enough.

Question everything!

Prove all things; hold fast that which is good. Abstain from all appearance of evil. 1 Thessalonians 5:21-22

 Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord. Ephesians 5:10

And for those who refuse to hear anything that contradicts what they want to hear, do not play the fool in doing so…

These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so. Acts 17:11
