Shame on those who profess Christ as their LORD yet seek to destroy those whom Christ died for…

Born again believers who are peacemakers do not seek the immediate destruction of the terrorist…

Instead they seek any means possible to win them back to God.

The Poor in spirit, those that mourn, the meek, those that hunger and thirst after righteousness, the merciful, the pure in heart and the peacemakers. these are not those that seek the immediate deaths of the terrorists of this world but instead are earnestly seeking for any means by which they may reach them for the purpose of reconciling them back to God.

Shame on those who profess Christ as their LORD yet seek to destroy those whom Christ died for…

Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted. Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth. Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled. Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy. Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God. Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God. Matthew 5:3-9

Christians stop using your worldly logic and start using your Bible!!!!

Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ. Colossians 2:8

Our country needs a real revolution

Our country needs a real revolution, a revolution with a soul, not an election...

Elections for the last hundred years or more have only gotten us a larger government which equates to socialism and the rights of both the born and unborn being trampled on and degraded...

If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. 2 Chronicles 7:14 KJV

Your prayers, in God's economy, count more than any vote in man's economy....

Pray for and help those around you that need help.

And whosoever of you will be the chiefest, shall be servant of all. For even the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many. Mark 10:44-45

But if we must elect someone…I chose and elect God...

And if it seem evil unto you to serve the Lord , choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord . Joshua 24:15

Republicrats, it's all the same, by design...

The First Amendment says I can comment (complain as per some folk's interpretation) even if I do not vote.

The current two party system gives an unrealistic impression that individual participation somehow carries weight...

Tell me during which administration did government get smaller, socialism got further away and individual rights (unborn or born) got strengthened? The burden here is not on me as I can prove with history and our current status that we are sliding further away from anything that resembles a good government where "we the people" actually matters.

Republicrats, it's all the same, by design.

Of two evils, choose neither...Abstain from all appearance of evil.

As to the two choices we have for president, one worships mammon and power where the other worships power.

Charles Spurgeon said it right:  "of two evils, choose neither".

You cannot server two masters so both of these 'evils' are not with God but against Him. That is Biblical math and it adds up to the fact that Christians are without a choice, again...

Abstain from all appearance of evil. 1 Thessalonians 5:22

The two party system is an illusion...

The two party system today gives an illusion that individual participation makes a difference.

Regardless of whoever wins any given election the trend continues to slide deeper into a godless and socialistic society that is more and more hostile towards Biblical Christianity.

Before you lecture me that I am throwing my vote away and that every vote counts, based on the paragraphs above, prove to me otherwise...

Our economy is usury to it's core...

No one seems to acknowledge the pitfalls of the fiat money system that we live under today. It is a culture of usury, using the Biblical definition, where every penny exists purely based on loans made at sometime in the past. With a fiat money supply comes the reality that if every loan in existence were to be paid off there would be zero pennies, or dollars, if you will, in the money supply.

People, when told this today, just shrug it off, seemingly due to either the blinders they choose to wear or due to the fact that economic bondage to them is no big deal. Once you pull back the curtain and see it for what it is then the potentials ought to be horrifying.

Separation of church and state? No, it's the submission of the church under the state...

The churches across this country officially began to submit under the authority of the state sometime around 1954 when the tax code was "modernized" and the 501(C) section was codified as part of the scheme.

People do not typically realize that when a church opts to save money via this route they have to submit to the authority of the state over God. They essentially loose any real claim to the first amendment in regards to both free speech and free exercise of religion. All for an extra dollar or two they have sold themselves to the state.

Here are the rules that dictate compliance under 501(C)(3): https://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/p4221pc.pdf

First Amendment:

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

Note the irony here where in the first amendment it states that Congress shall make no law...yet in IRS' publication 1828 it states "Congress has enacted special tax laws that apply to churches..."

For more see Publication 1828: https://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/p4221pc.pdf

What essentially has happened is that the church has submitted to the state. There is no separation per se...

Let her own works praise her in the gates.

Anyone who knows my wife, Paula, knows that she has a passion for the Lord, bar none.

And, anyone who knows my wife, Paula, knows that she is an unquestionable example of the Proverbs 31 woman!

Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies. [11] The heart of her husband doth safely trust in her, so that he shall have no need of spoil. [12] She will do him good and not evil all the days of her life. [13] She seeketh wool, and flax, and worketh willingly with her hands. [14] She is like the merchants' ships; she bringeth her food from afar. [15] She riseth also while it is yet night, and giveth meat to her household, and a portion to her maidens. [16] She considereth a field, and buyeth it: with the fruit of her hands she planteth a vineyard. [17] She girdeth her loins with strength, and strengtheneth her arms. [18] She perceiveth that her merchandise is good: her candle goeth not out by night. [19] She layeth her hands to the spindle, and her hands hold the distaff. [20] She stretcheth out her hand to the poor; yea, she reacheth forth her hands to the needy. [21] She is not afraid of the snow for her household: for all her household are clothed with scarlet. [22] She maketh herself coverings of tapestry; her clothing is silk and purple. [23] Her husband is known in the gates, when he sitteth among the elders of the land. [24] She maketh fine linen, and selleth it ; and delivereth girdles unto the merchant. [25] Strength and honour are her clothing; and she shall rejoice in time to come. [26] She openeth her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue is the law of kindness. [27] She looketh well to the ways of her household, and eateth not the bread of idleness. [28] Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband also , and he praiseth her. [29] Many daughters have done virtuously, but thou excellest them all. [30] Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the Lord , she shall be praised. [31] Give her of the fruit of her hands; and let her own works praise her in the gates. Proverbs 31:10-31 KJV

The State Church...

If you have trouble reading the print on the pic just refer to the first amendment and then contrast that with page two of: https://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/p1828.pdf

Preaching from the front porch: If you are part of the “whosoever” that is spoken of in John 3:16 then you are condemned already...

I myself serve the law of God

I myself serve the law of God...This ought to be the cry and focus of every heart that is turned towards their creator, despite any excuses they may have...

For that which I do I allow not: for what I would, that do I not; but what I hate, that do I.  If then I do that which I would not, I consent unto the law that it is good.  Now then it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me.  For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not.  For the good that I would I do not: but the evil which I would not, that I do.  Now if I do that I would not, it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me.  I find then a law, that, when I would do good, evil is present with me.  For I delight in the law of God after the inward man:  But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members.  O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death?  I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin.  Romans 7:15-25

For those legalists out there who are ironically and illogically opposed to the law consider what Paul said prior to the above passage:

What shall we say then? Is the law sin? God forbid. Nay, I had not known sin, but by the law: for I had not known lust, except the law had said, Thou shalt not covet. Romans 7:7

Without the law you would have no clue what sin was...

Church and State Bribery AKA 501(c)(3) and how people are so wrong on this...

A pastor just recently, during a Sunday morning service, said some things that technically by the rules in place that underlie the tax exempt status for churches, could have gotten him into trouble.

What I witnessed was sadly ironic as well.

The pastor was essentially directly telling the congregation to not vote for Hillary Clinton. He may have thought he was getting around the rules by not specifically naming her but referring to her as the “she” and “woman” who was running for president but it was not hard to know who exactly he was referring to.

The pastor’s reasoning behind telling them to not vote for her stemmed from his belief that she would end the church’s getting tax exception status (501(c)(3) ) due to her hatred of Christianity.

The irony is that he was restrained in speaking as freely as he wanted to such as being able to name the “she” by her actual name. This was due to the restrictions on speech that he knew were the underlying rules of 501(c)(3).

By taking on 501(c)(3) status churches believe that they are being fiscally responsible. It is difficult to fault the intentions of people’s hearts from this perspective but it is a perspective lacking truth in reality...

By taking on 501(c)(3) status what is essentially happening is a trade off, money in lieu of free speech. The irony then runs deep as what is realistically happening is that in order to have more money the churches opt to follow the tax exemption rules which, as stated previously, essentially limit what is able to be preached from the pulpit. In Christianity this power ought to only be God’s only but instead the churches choose to transfer this power to the state. More irony here is that realistically they do not have the power to do this transfer. Instead what they are doing is going under the State’s authority and not God’s. This does not come with consequences either.

Keep in mind that the Supreme Court’s decision regarding Buckley v. Valeo ruled that money itself was free speech but the money gained by the Church via their tax exempt status also has free speech limitations along these same lines as mentioned above.

This is indeed ironic and very sad that we have come to a time where Churches will literally fight to keep more money and in the process knowingly give up their rights to free speech which was given to them by God and not the state.

My son said this almost sounds like bribery and I have to agree. Taking bribes with the agreement to remain silent is not what the church ought to be doing today. We should be holding to the obedience of God over man and not being so fixated on money but instead focused on the preaching of the unrestricted truth.

No way will I ever report a preacher for speaking his heart on government issues such as I witnessed here recently. Also, I will not provide what church or pastor I am referring to in this post... IMHO I have the right to remain silent at this point....

Imagination unchecked is sin.

The thought of foolishness is sin... Proverbs 24:9 KJV

If what we play around with in our heads, for example, magic, whether from Harry Potter, Pokémon, and yes, even C.S Lewis and Tolkien, or anything else that contradicts God's word in what it tells us as being something that is an abomination to Him, then we need to cast it down!

Playing around with things that offend God's standard is a sin. You don't have to physically do it for it to be sin.

It is sadly hypocritical that professing Christians correctly hold to this standard when it comes to pornography yet they fail to do the same with magic and other things that offend God.

Simply put, they are justifying sin so they can indulge in their selfish desires.

...the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds...Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ...2 Corinthians 10:4-5 KJV

Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. Philippians 4:8 KJV

Double minded people are dangerous...

In no way is this an endorsement for Hillary as she is just as double minded and unstable as Obama and Trump. America is in trouble...

If you are not one of the “whosoever” then you are condemned already...

For God So Loved the World...but...yeah, there is more...

JOHN 3:16

Even most non-believers are aware of this verse.

We see it on signs at sporting events. We hear it preached from the pulpits across the land. It is probably one of the most recognized and memorized verses of this age.

Yet when it stands alone, as it seems to be preferred by most today, it sheds only a partial truth in regards to the overall Gospel message. Floating this scripture alone, by itself, without the remainder of what Jesus said leaves many today with a false hope of assurance that they are accepted by God.

In light of the sugar coated message that verse 16, on it’s own, gives and why people love it so much, it is not hard to see why they do not care to look any further into the full context of what Jesus was saying here.

The true gospel message would include the harsh truth that we hear in the verses that follow, namely verses 18-20.

It is no surprise that we do not see signs at those sporting events that say John 3:18 yet that is the verse that non-believers need to accept in regards to their condition before the one and only, holy and righteous God, their Creator. They need to know that they are condemned and need to repent, submit and turn to God. Without doing this verse 16 will not save them, it only reveals the truth of what God did on the cross many years ago so that they can be saved.

John 3:18 along with verses 19 and 20 says  “He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. 19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. 20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.”

Now here is the full context of John 3:16:

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. 18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. 19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. 20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. 21 But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.” John 3:16-21

If you are not one of the “whosoever” then you are condemned already...

Outward appearances can tell us much about a person...

Not that which goeth into the mouth defileth a man; but that which cometh out of the mouth, this defileth a man. [18] But those things which proceed out of the mouth come forth from the heart; and they defile the man. [19] For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies...Matthew 15:11, 18-19 KJV

Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? [17] Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. [18] A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. [19] Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. [20] Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them. Matthew 7:16-20 KJV

Sometimes the outward appearances can be deceiving...

Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye are like unto whited sepulchres, which indeed appear beautiful outward, but are within full of dead men's bones, and of all uncleanness. [28] Even so ye also outwardly appear righteous unto men, but within ye are full of hypocrisy and iniquity. Matthew 23:27-28 KJV

Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. [22] Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? [23] And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. Matthew 7:21-23 KJV

The most impotant thing to remember is to not use your liberty to cause others to stumble. Stay above reproach...

It is good neither to eat flesh, nor to drink wine, nor any thing whereby thy brother stumbleth, or is offended, or is made weak. Romans 14:21 KJV

Prove all things; hold fast that which is good. [22] Abstain from all appearance of evil. 1 Thessalonians 5:21-22 KJV

Use your liberty instead to serve others...

For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another. Galatians 5:13 KJV

Stop living under “Greasy Grace”... Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? God forbid...

Greasy grace is just like greasy fast food. You want it, you love it but it is bad for you and it will kill you.

What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? God forbid... shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid.

When God’s Word says “God Forbid” we ought to listen to what He says to forbid...

It is sad that in today’s modern church the focus is so much more on God’s grace in order to justify being more like the world (sin) then actually reverencing and living within God’s holy boundaries which, when we do so, we truly provide Him glory. A genuine believer would take joy in this outcome.

Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law. Romans 3:31

Here is the condensed version again for emphasis. Following after this is the passage in its entirety for context...

What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? God forbid... shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid.

What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein? Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection: Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin. For he that is dead is freed from sin. Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him: Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him. For in that he died, he died unto sin once: but in that he liveth, he liveth unto God. Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord. Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof. Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God. For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace. What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid. Romans 6:1-15

The following is for those who want to completely ignore God’s law and claim to live under His grace while redefining apart from God what good is in order to justify their sin(s):

What shall we say then? Is the law sin? God forbid. Nay, I had not known sin, but by the law: for I had not known lust, except the law had said, Thou shalt not covet. But sin, taking occasion by the commandment, wrought in me all manner of concupiscence. For without the law sin was dead. For I was alive without the law once: but when the commandment came, sin revived, and I died. And the commandment, which was ordained to life, I found to be unto death. For sin, taking occasion by the commandment, deceived me, and by it slew me. Wherefore the law is holy, and the commandment holy, and just, and good. Was then that which is good made death unto me? God forbid. But sin, that it might appear sin, working death in me by that which is good; that sin by the commandment might become exceeding sinful. Romans 7:7-13

If it was not for the law we would not know God’s standard of goodness. Rest assured His goodness is far above any standard we can ever devise.

God forbid that we not listen to God when He says God forbid...

Disclaimer: It was understood at the time of this writing that there will come the legalists who are legalistically against legalism. Relax, it is never legalistic to obey God...

Tattoos and the true believer...

Tattoos are literally just selfish graffiti that defile the outward surface of the temple of the Holy Ghost, if you are a true believer that is...

Ye shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead, nor print any marks upon you: I [am] the LORD.   Leviticus 19:28

What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? 1 Corinthians 6:19-20

In no way do I see this as a doctrine but in God's word it certainly is a principle that falls under important doctrines such as the holiness of God (I.e. spotless and perfect lamb, etc...)

I have heard people use Galatians 5:13 but Paul said our liberty was not to be an occasion for the flesh but that it is there for us to be blessed through serving others. Peter also said that liberty should be used in serving God and not ourselves.

For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another. Galatians 5:13

As free, and not using your liberty for a cloke of maliciousness, but as the servants of God. 1 Peter 2:16

God said to Haggai that you cannot call some clean and acceptable if God has said it was not. Paul confirmed this even more specifically regarding our bodies.

Thus saith the Lord of hosts; Ask now the priests concerning the law, saying, [12] If one bear holy flesh in the skirt of his garment, and with his skirt do touch bread, or pottage, or wine, or oil, or any meat, shall it be holy? And the priests answered and said, No. [13] Then said Haggai, If one that is unclean by a dead body touch any of these, shall it be unclean? And the priests answered and said, It shall be unclean. [14] Then answered Haggai, and said, So is this people, and so is this nation before me, saith the Lord ; and so is every work of their hands; and that which they offer there is unclean. Haggai 2:11-14 KJV

I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. [2] And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. Romans 12:1-2 KJV

Jesus died so that we could be set apart from the world, not to be like the world. I cannot fathom that there is a work around for that. It seems that would be what Peter referred to as a cloke of maliciousness...

I have seen people repent for getting marks on their bodies, some have even taken steps to reduce or reverse these marks and I know these all are forgiven by God. I encourage people along these paths. He is faithful and just to forgive!
It saddens me to see the church in such compromise with the world today.

Haggai covers this issue of over simplifying context. One can use the approach as many do today and say that this was just about flesh touching skirts touching bread, pottage, wine or oil or any meat but it is an example to show that “every work of their hands; and that which they offer there is unclean”.

But Jesus also qualified the spirit of God’s commands to us in that hatred is as murder and looking with lust is adultery in God’s Kingdom (see Matthew 5, etc.).

People over simplify God’s indentations for us typically to justify sin in one fashion or another. God wants all of us not just piecemeal.

If the approach to scripture ought to be strictly literal in all places then Jesus could be deemed incorrect when He qualified the law in Matthew 5 and the majority of pastors would be wrong in how they use Malachi to justify goading the masses to give ten percent instead of giving 100 percent. Malachi was not telling the people to give 10 percent only as the strict context there was that God wanted them to return to Him. God wants all of them. Jesus qualified this as well in His ministry to us and then ultimately His death for us.

And whosoever of you will be the chiefest, shall be servant of all. For even the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many. Mark 10:44-45

People are incorrect to say that in 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 Paul was just speaking of the church body as he was using the example of individuals abusing their bodies. Context is in the preceding verse, verse 18. Of course the work around or cloak of maliciousness here would be to say that this is only relegated to fornication but God’s intention is deeper than ours and he wants us to fully protect and care for this Temple of His Spirit. vs 18: Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body.

I will also say that there is no real way to be 100 percent certain that getting a tattoo will not come with consequences (http://healthimpactnews.com/.../think-before-you-ink-the.../). Taking risks such as this is not a demonstration of good stewardship of what God has given us. Also, the article demonstrates that heathen cultures utilizes this practice in the past and we know that this continues to occur. There are absolutely no mentions of the early church using this practice and I do not believe you will find any examples or mentions of this in church writings until we started seeing this creep into the church during this modern age.

Is there such a thing as a crime that at some level is not a hate crime?

In God's economy all sins are hate crimes thus in reality all crimes are hate crimes...

No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon. Matthew 6:24

Forget all that stuff, it's gonna all burn anyways...

Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded; But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all. Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed.  In that day, he which shall be upon the housetop, and his stuff in the house, let him not come down to take it away: and he that is in the field, let him likewise not return back.  Remember Lot's wife.  Whosoever shall seek to save his life shall lose it; and whosoever shall lose his life shall preserve it. Luke 17:28-33 KJV

The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.  But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up. Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,  Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?  Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.  Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless.  2 Peter 3:9-14 KJV

The Relevance of God’s Law…

I am the LORD thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.
Thou shalt have no other gods before me.
Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth:
Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;
And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments.
Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain; for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.
Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.
Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work:
But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:
For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.
Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee.
Thou shalt not kill.
Thou shalt not commit adultery.
Thou shalt not steal.
Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour.
Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that is thy neighbour's.
Exodus 20:2-17

And when he was gone forth into the way, there came one running, and kneeled to him, and asked him, Good Master, what shall I do that I may inherit eternal life?
And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God.
Thou knowest the commandments, Do not commit adultery, Do not kill, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Defraud not, Honour thy father and mother.
And he answered and said unto him, Master, all these have I observed from my youth.
Then Jesus beholding him loved him, and said unto him, One thing thou lackest: go thy way, sell whatsoever thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, take up the cross, and follow me.
And he was sad at that saying, and went away grieved: for he had great possessions.
And Jesus looked round about, and saith unto his disciples, How hardly shall they that have riches enter into the kingdom of God!
And the disciples were astonished at his words. But Jesus answereth again, and saith unto them, Children, how hard is it for them that trust in riches to enter into the kingdom of God!
It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.
And they were astonished out of measure, saying among themselves, Who then can be saved?
And Jesus looking upon them saith, With men it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible.
Then Peter began to say unto him, Lo, we have left all, and have followed thee.
And Jesus answered and said, Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my sake, and the gospel's,
But he shall receive an hundredfold now in this time, houses, and brethren, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and lands, with persecutions; and in the world to come eternal life.
But many that are first shall be last; and the last first.
Mark 10:17-31

Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.
For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.
Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
Matthew 5:17-19

Except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish...emphasis added by Jesus, times two.

Further emphasis provided by me (like it's really needed...):

Except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.

There were present at that season some that told him of the Galilaeans, whose blood Pilate had mingled with their sacrifices. And Jesus answering said unto them, Suppose ye that these Galilaeans were sinners above all the Galilaeans, because they suffered such things? I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish. Or those eighteen, upon whom the tower in Siloam fell, and slew them, think ye that they were sinners above all men that dwelt in Jerusalem? I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish. Luke 13:1-5

Except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.
Except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.
Except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.
Except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.
Except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.
Except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.
Except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.

After my posting of this I imagine the dispensationalists responding as such:

Then they cried out with a loud voice, and stopped their ears, and ran upon him with one accord. And cast him out of the city, and stoned him...Acts 7:57-58

Paul clearly taught that both Gentile and Jew needed to repent. This was a command straight from God.

There are no dispensational lines here, this was intended for everyone.

Emphasis on verse 30... but now commandeth all men every where to repent...Paul’s audience for this was specifically Gentile but the context is for “all men everywhere to repent...”!!!

Read further for the exact context:

Then Paul stood in the midst of Mars' hill, and said, Ye men of Athens, I perceive that in all things ye are too superstitious. For as I passed by, and beheld your devotions, I found an altar with this inscription, TO THE UNKNOWN GOD. Whom therefore ye ignorantly worship, him declare I unto you. God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands;  Neither is worshipped with men's hands, as though he needed any thing, seeing he giveth to all life, and breath, and all things; And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation;  That they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after him, and find him, though he be not far from every one of us:  For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring.  Forasmuch then as we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Godhead is like unto gold, or silver, or stone, graven by art and man's device. And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent:  Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead. Acts 17:22-31

Donald vs Jesus

This writer makes a strong and convincing point...not sure if he is a Christian or not but he certainly sees the disconnect between Trump and Jesus Christ.

More of you put there who profess to being believers I Christ really should get it as well.

And, NO, Hillary and Bernie are not good alternatives either.

The Ever Changing ESVs 2001, 2007 and 2011...

The link below leads to a great article by Will Kinney. Many or our friends are caught up with this corrupt version and defend it even knowing some of it's issues.

If you are using this version or the NIV, or any other version born out of the Alexandrian stream or translated with the corrupted modern textual criticism approach then I highly recommend that you study to shew yourself approved, get on your knees, pray and ask God to lead you into what is true (factual). Truly study the Word of God. Start by digging deep into the histories of new versions as well as those born out of Antioch (KJV...) going back to Satan in the Garden when he said, "yea hath God said?" then continue your study by researching the corrupt workings of Origen and others who would edit the very words of God...

Will Kinney has done a ton of work on this already so he is a valuable resource.

Note, I once was a James White believer and for years I fell under his delusions. Be very careful with everything you hear and read and check everything with much prayer and make sure it lines up with what God truly wrote and preserved perfectly for us!

The Federal Reserve System: An Appearance of the Fourth Kind

“There was a philosopher by the name of Epictetus and it was Epictetus who said "Appearances are of four kinds: things either are as they appear to be; or they neither are nor appear to be; or they are but do not appear to be; or they are not and yet appear to be." ... if there's anything in the world that is deceiving it is the Federal Reserve System. In fact, it is one of those appearances of the fourth kind which are those appearances which are not and yet appear to be...” – G. Edward Griffin.

Most Americans have no clue about what the Federal Reserve actually is or what they do.

I highly encourage folks to check out the book “The Creature From Jekyll Island” by G. Edward Griffin. It gives a very good and accurate historical look into this scheme...

To get an idea watch this video first but you must read the book to get more granular details. It indeed is a look behind the curtain at who is truly ruling the world today.

This may sound conspiratorial indeed but the challenge here is that all of history is but one conspiracy after another with the greatest being the murder of God in the flesh on the cross two thousand years ago.

The Federal Reserve is, in my humble opinion, a fundamental tool of Satan to bring us into the last days that we know, or should know, are pending. This is just prior to God’s final judgment upon the earth. For that you must read your Bible. In fact if you have not read your Bible in it’s entirety, do that first prior to looking into this information on the Fed.

Be Modest so others do not stumble and so that God can be glorified!

We must, both men and women, not dress in ways that will cause others to stumble through lusting with their eyes, or as Jesus put it, committing adultery...

We must present ourselves in such a way that brings God glory and not glory to ourselves...

Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not commit adultery: But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart. Matthew 5:27-28

Whose adorning let it not be that outward adorning of plaiting the hair, and of wearing of gold, or of putting on of apparel; But let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price. 1 Peter 3:3-4

In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array; But (which becometh women professing godliness) with good works.1 Timothy 2:9-10

As a jewel of gold in a swine's snout, so is a fair woman which is without discretion. Proverbs 11:22

This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh. Galatians 5:16

Yea, hath God said? Or what exactly did He say???

People have been telling me to lighten up and that all the versions say the same things but in different ways.

Well I the more I studied into this, as one of the versions encourages to do so, the more I found some, well several, no many places, where they said completely different things.

I found myself in a dilemma due to the law of non-contradictions. This law demands that when something is true its opposite cannot be true as well.

Read through these following pasages and decide for yourself which ones are true and make sure you do so with much prayer!

The wicked, through the pride of his countenance, will not seek after God: God is not in all his thoughts. His ways are always grievous; thy judgments are far above out of his sight: as for all his enemies, he puffeth at them. Psalm 10:4-5 KJV

In his pride the wicked man does not seek him; in all his thoughts there is no room for God. His ways are always prosperous; your laws are rejected by him; he sneers at all his enemies. Psalm 10:4-5 NIV

In the pride of his face the wicked does not seek him; all his thoughts are, "There is no God." His ways prosper at all times; your judgments are on high, out of his sight; as for all his foes, he puffs at them. Psalm 10:4-5 ESV

The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. Thou shalt keep them, O LORD, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever. Psalm 12:6-7 KJV

And the words of the LORD are flawless, like silver purified in a crucible, like gold refined seven times. You, LORD, will keep the needy safe and will protect us forever from the wicked, Psalm 12:6-7 NIV

The words of the LORD are pure words, like silver refined in a furnace on the ground, purified seven times.  You, O LORD, will keep them; you will guard us from this generation forever. Psalm 12:6-7 ESV

Hey, NIV, I thought you were supposed to be giving us a more common and modern day English usage approach to the text?  I am asking around and folks seem to think that furnace is a better way to understand what is happening in Psalm 12 verse 6 than crucible...Also, the context of verse 7 for both the NIV and the ESV regarding “us” is way off as the referenced noun is the words of God...At least the ESV is contextually half correct. Note: in God’s economy half correct is completely false. His Word is preserved and true through and through.

Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness. 2 Timothy 2:15-16

Why separation of church and state...?

Why do the masses support separation of church and state?

Why is our country secular and hostile against Jesus Christ regarding public policies?

Why do they indoctrinate evolution and reject anything regarding God and His creation?

Because they are fools who want to do it their way.

God does not stutter but He does repeat things so we can fully understand certain points...

The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good. The Lord looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, and seek God. They are all gone aside, they are all together become filthy: there is none that doeth good, no, not one.  Have all the workers of iniquity no knowledge? who eat up my people as they eat bread, and call not upon the Lord . Psalm 14:1-4

The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. Corrupt are they, and have done abominable iniquity: there is none that doeth good. God looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, that did seek God. Every one of them is gone back: they are altogether become filthy; there is none that doeth good, no, not one. Have the workers of iniquity no knowledge? who eat up my people as they eat bread: they have not called upon God. Psalm 53:1-4

...every man did that which was right in his own eyes.  Judges 21:25 KJV

After the great tribulation, the sun moon will be darkened… the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?

For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other. Matthew 24:21, 29-31

But in those days, after that tribulation, the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, And the stars of heaven shall fall, and the powers that are in heaven shall be shaken. And then shall they see the Son of man coming in the clouds with great power and glory. And then shall he send his angels, and shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from the uttermost part of the earth to the uttermost part of heaven. Mark 13:24-27

And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring; Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken. And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh. Luke 21:25-28

And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood. Revelation 6:12

A fuller contextual look around Revelation 6:12:

And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?   And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled.  And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood;  And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind.  And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places.  And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains;  And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb:  For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand? Revelation 6:10-17

Old Testament references:

The earth shall quake before them; the heavens shall tremble: the sun and the moon shall be dark, and the stars shall withdraw their shining: And the LORD shall utter his voice before his army: for his camp is very great: for he is strong that executeth his word: for the day of the LORD is great and very terrible; and who can abide it? Joel 2:10-11

And I will shew wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke. The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and the terrible day of the LORD come. And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the LORD shall be delivered: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the LORD hath said, and in the remnant whom the LORD shall call. Joe 2:30-32

The sun and the moon shall be darkened, and the stars shall withdraw their shining. The LORD also shall roar out of Zion, and utter his voice from Jerusalem; and the heavens and the earth shall shake: but the LORD will be the hope of his people, and the strength of the children of Israel. Joel 3:15-16

"Why should a person come to the cross?... May the Lamb that was slain receive the reward of His suffering” - Paris Reidhead

More from Ten Shekels and a shirt by Paris Reidhead:

""Why should a person come to the cross? Why should a person embrace death with Christ? Why should a person be willing to go in identification down to the cross and into the tomb and up again? I'll tell you why! Because it's the only way that God can get glory out of a human being!"

"Would I be out of line in order if I were to talk to you for a little while about utilitarian religion? An expedient Christianity? And the question that you are going to ask yourself is: “Is God an end or is He a means?” You have to decide very early in your Christian life whether you are viewing God as an end or a means."

"The philosophy of the day became humanism and you can define humanism this way: Humanism is a philosophical statement that declares the end of all being is the happiness of man. The reason for existence is man's happiness. Now according to humanism salvation is simply a matter of getting all the happiness you can out of life. This group of my people the fundamentalists that say: "We believe in the inspiration of the Bible"

"We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ"

"We believe in hell, we believe in Heaven"

"We believe in the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ"

And remember the atmosphere is that of humanism. Humanism says the chief end of being is the happiness of man. And so it wasn't long until we had this, the fundamentalists knew each other because they said 'We believe these things.' They were men for the most part that had met God. But you see it wasn't long until having said 'these are the things that establish us as fundamentalists', the second generation said, "This is how we become a fundamentalist;"

"Believe in the inspiration of the Bible."

"Believe in the deity of Christ."

"Believe in His death, burial, and resurrection."

And thereby become a fundamentalist.

And so it wasn't long until it got to our generation where the whole plan of salvation was to give intellectual assent to a few statements of doctrine. And a person was considered a Christian because he could say 'Uh huh' at 4 or 5 places that he was asked to and if he knew where to say 'Uh huh' someone would pat him on the back, shake his hand, smile broadly and say:

'Brother, you're saved.' And so it had gotten down to the place where salvation was nothing more than an assent to a scheme or a formula. And the end of this salvation was the happiness of man because humanism has penetrated. And so if you were to analyze the fundamentalism in contrast to liberalism of a hundred years ago, as it developed, it’d be like this:

The liberal says the end of religion is to make man happy while he's alive.

And the fundamentalist says the end of religion is to make man happy when he dies. Until we find something like this; "Accept Jesus so you can go to Heaven, you don't want to go to that old, filthy, nasty, burning hell when there's a beautiful Heaven up there. Now come to Jesus so that you can go to Heaven." And the appeal could be as much to selfishness as a couple of men sitting in a coffee shop deciding they are going to rob a bank to get something for nothing. It becomes so subtle ... it goes everywhere.

What is it? In essence it is this: that this philosophical postulate that the end of all being is the happiness of man has been covered over with evangelical terms and Biblical doctrine until God reigns in Heaven for the happiness of man, Jesus Christ was incarnate for the happiness of man, all the Angels exist in the... Everything is for the happiness of man!

And I submit to you that this is un-Christian!

Christianity says... "The end of all being is the glory of God."

Humanism says, "The end of all being is the happiness of man."

This is the betrayal of the ages!! (pounds the pulpit)

And it's the betrayal in which we live and I don't see how God can revive it!

Until we come back to Christianity.

Isn't man happy?

And God intends to make you happy. But as a by-product and not a prime product."
...

Why did you repent? I’d like to see some people repent on biblical terms again.

You see the difference? You see the difference?

The difference is here’s somebody trembling because he’s gonna be hurt in hell. And he has no sense of the enormity of his guilt and no sense of the enormity of his crimes and no sense of his insult against Deity. He’s only trembling because his skin is about to be singed.

And this is the difference between 20th century preaching and the preaching of John Wesley. Wesley was a preacher of righteousness that exalted the holiness of God. And when he would stand there with the two to three-hour sermons that he was accustomed to deliver in the open air and he would exalt the holiness of God and the law of God and the righteousness of God and the justice of God and the wisdom of His requirements and the justice of His wrath and His anger and then he would turn to sinners and tell them of the enormity of their crimes and their open rebellion and theie treason and their anarchy. The power of God would so descend upon the company that on one occasion it is reliably reported that when the people dispersed, there were 1,800 people lying on the ground utterly unconscious because they’d had a revelation of the holiness of God and in the light of that, they’d seen the enormity of their sin. And God had so penetrated their minds and hearts that they had fallen to the ground. It wasn’t trying to convince good man that he was in trouble with a bad God. But that it was to convince bad men that they deserved the wrath and anger of a good God.

I have talked with people that have no assurance of sins forgiven. They wanna feel saved before they’re willing to commit themselves to Christ. But I believe that the only ones whom God actually witnesses by His Spirit are born of Him, are the people whether they say it or not, that come to Jesus Christ and say something like this:

“Lord Jesus, I’m gonna obey You and love You and serve You and do what You want me to do as long as I live even if I go to hell at the end of the road simply because You are worthy to be loved, obeyed and served. And I’m not trying to make a deal with You.”

But oh I know so many people that are trying to know the fullness of God, so that they can use God.

A young preacher came to me down in West Virginia, Huntington, West Virginia. And he said “Brother Reidhead, I’ve got a great church. We’ve got a wonderful Sunday school program..got a radio ministry..growing. But I feel a personal need and a personal lack, I need to be baptized of the Holy Ghost, I need to be filled with the Spirit, and someone told me God done something for you. And I wanted you to help me.” I looked at the fellow and you know what he looked like? Me. Just looked like me. I just saw in him everything that was in me, you thought ... You thought I was going to say “me before”. No, listen dear heart. If you’ve ever seen yourself you’ll know that you’re never gonna be anything else than you were. For in me in my flesh, there is no good thing. But like me.

He's like a fellow driving up in a big Cadillac you know, to someone standing at a filling station saying “Fill her up, Bud, with the highest octane you got.” Well, that’s the way it looked, he wanted power for his program. And God is not going to be a means to anyone’s end. I said, “I’m awfully sorry, I don’t think I can help you." He said “Why?” "I don’t think you’re ready. Well suppose, you consider yourself coming up with a Cadillac, you’ve talked about your program, you’ve talked about your radio, you’ve talked about your Sunday school and church. Very good. You’ve done wonderfully well without the power of the Holy Spirit.”

That’s what the Chinese Christian said you know when he got back to China. “What impressed you most about America?” others asked. He said, “The great things Americans can accomplish without God.”

And he’d accomplished a great deal, admittedly, without God. And now he’s wanting something, power, to accomplish his end even further. I said “No. No. You’re gonna, you're sitting behind the wheel and you’re saying to God, 'Give me power so I can go.' It won't work, you gotta slide over." But I knew that rascal, 'cause I knew me. I said, “No it’ll never do. You gotta get in the back seat.” And I could see him leaning over and grabbing the wheel. “No,” I said. “It’ll never do in the back seat.” I said “Before God’ll do anything for you, you know what you gotta do?” And he said, “What?” I said, “You gotta get out of the car, take the keys around, open up the trunk lid, hand the keys to the Lord Jesus, get inside the trunk, slam the lid down, whisper through the keyhole, ‘Lord, look, fill her up with anything You want and You drive, it’s up to You from now on.’”

That’s why so many people, you know, do not enter into the fullness of Christ because they want to become a Levite with ten shekels and a shirt. They’ve been serving Micah but they think if they had the power of the Holy Ghost they could serve the tribe of Dan. It will never work, never work. There’s only one reason for God meeting you, and that’s to bring you to the place where, in repentance, you’ve been pardoned for His glory, and in victory, you’ve been brought to the place of death that He might reign and in His fullness Jesus Christ is able to live and walk in you. And your attitude is the attitude of the Lord Himself, who said, “I could do nothing of Myself." I can’t speak of myself. I don’t make plans for myself. My only reason for being is the glory of God in Jesus Christ. If I were to say to you: “Come, to be saved so you can go to Heaven; Come to the cross so that you can have joy and victory. Come for the fullness of the Spirit so that you can be satisfied.” I’d be falling into the trap of humanism.

I’m going to say to you, dear friend, if you are out here without Christ, you come to Jesus Christ and serve Him as long as you live whether you go to hell at the end of the way because He’s worthy. I say to you, Christian friend, you come to the cross and join Him in union and death and enter into all the meaning of death to self, in order that He can have glory. I say to you, dear Christian, if you do not know the fullness of the Holy Ghost, come and present your body a living sacrifice and let Him fill you so that He can have the purpose for His coming fulfilled in you and get glory through your life. It’s not what you’re going to get out of God. It’s what He is going to get out of you.

Let’s be done once and for all with utilitarian Christianity that makes God a means, instead of the glorious end that He is. Let’s resign. Let’s tell Micah we’re through. We’re no longer gonna be as priests serving for ten shekels and a shirt. Let’s tell the tribe of Dan we’re through. And let’s come and cast ourselves at the feet of the nail-pierced Son of God and tell Him that we’re gonna obey Him, and love Him and serve Him as long as we live because He is worthy.

Two young Moravians heard of an island in the West Indies, where an atheist British owner had 2,000 to 3,000 slaves. And the owner had said, “No preacher, no clergyman will ever stay on this island. If he’s shipwrecked, we’ll keep him in a separate house until he has to leave but he’s never gonna talk to any of us about God. I’m through with all that nonsense.” Three thousand slaves from the jungles of Africa brought to an island in the Atlantic and there to live and die without hearing of Christ. Two young Moravians heard about it. They sold themselves to the British planter then used the money they received from the sale, for he paid no more than he would for any slave, to pay their passage out to his island for he wouldn’t even transport them. And as the ship left the …river at Hamburg ...left its pier at the river at Hamburg and was going out to the North Sea, carried with the tide. The Moravians had come from Herrnhut to see these two lads off, in their early twenties, never to return again. For this wasn’t a four-year term, they’d sold themselves into lifetime of slavery. Simply that as slaves they could be as Christians for these others were. The families were there weeping for they knew they’d never see them again.. And they wondered why they’re going and questioned the wisdom of it. And as the gap widened and the houses had been cast off and were being curled up there on the pier. And the young boys saw the widening gap, one lad, with his arm linked through the arm of his fellow, raised his hand and shouted across the gap the last words that were heard from them. They were these: “May the Lamb that was slain receive the reward of His suffering” And this became the call of Moravian missions.

And this is the only reason for being, that the Lamb that was slain may receive the reward of His suffering."

The Modern Gospel is Humanism- Ten Shekels and a Shirt quotes and link

Paris Reidhead delivered a sermon years ago that all Christians today should listen to.

Following is a pivotal piece from this work but you should listen to it in it's entirety. The link for the sermon is further below.

"Now I ask you, what is the philosophy of mission? What is the philosophy of evangelism? What is the philosophy of a Christian?

If you’ll ask me why I went to Africa, I’ll tell you I went primarily, to improve on the justice of God.

I didn’t think it was right for anybody to go to hell without a chance to be saved. And so I went to give poor sinners a chance to go to Heaven.

Now, I hadn’t put it in so many words. But if you’ll analyze what I just told you, do you know what it is?

It’s humanism.

But I was simply using the provisions of Jesus Christ as a means to improve upon human conditions of suffering and misery.

And when I got to Africa, I discovered that they weren’t poor, ignorant, little heathen running around in the woods, waiting for, looking for someone to tell them how to go to Heaven. That they were monsters of iniquity. They were living in utter and total defiance, of far more knowledge of God than I ever dreamed they had.

They deserved hell because they utterly refused to walk in the light of their conscience and the light of the law written upon their heart and the testimony of nature and the truth they knew.

And when I found that out, I assure you, I was so angry with God that one occasion in prayer, I told him that it was a mighty, little thing He’d done, sending me out there to reach these people that were waiting to be told how to go to Heaven and when I got there I found out they knew about Heaven, didn’t wanna go there. And they loved their sin and wanted to stay in it.

I went out there motivated by humanism. I’d seen pictures of lepers. I’d seen pictures of ulcers. I’d seen pictures of native funerals. And I didn’t want my fellow human beings to suffer in hell eternally, after such a miserable existence on earth. But it was there in Africa that God began to tear through the overlay of this humanism.

And it was that day in my bedroom, with the door locked, that I wrestled with God. For here was... I was coming to grips with the fact that the people I thought were ignorant and wanted to know how to go to Heaven, and were saying “someone come and teach us” actually didn’t wanna take time to talk with me or anybody else.. They had no interest in the bible and no interest in Christ. And they loved their sin and wanted to continue in it. And I was to the place at that time where I felt the whole thing was a sham and a mockery and I’d been sold a bill of goods. And I wanted to come home.

And there alone in my bedroom as I faced God honestly with what my heart felt, it seemed to me I heard Him say,

“Yes, will not the Judge of all the earth do right? The heathen are lost and they’re going to go to hell not because they haven’t heard the gospel. They’re going to go to hell because they are sinners who loved... their ..sin.. and because they deserved hell. But, I didn’t send you out there for them, I didn't send you out there for their sakes."

And I heard as clearly as I’ve ever heard though it wasn’t with physical voice but it was the echo of truth of the ages finding its way into an open heart. I heard God say to my heart that day something like this:

“I didn’t send you to Africa for the sake of the heathen. I sent you to Africa for My sake. They deserved hell but I love them and I endured the agonies of hell for them. I didn’t send you out there for them. I sent you out there for Me. Do I not deserve the reward of My suffering? Don't I deserve those for whom I died?”

And it reversed it all. It changed it all and righted it all. And I wasn't any longer working for my cup and ten shekels and a shirt but I was serving the living God." - Paris Reidhead

OSAS/Preservation of the Saints? Creation and the examples God gave us in His Word says otherwise.

Many will continue to make the mistake by saying that I am supporting a works based salvation. What Jesus did on the cross is something that no man other than Himself could do. Jesus was God manifested in the flesh. He came to die for our sins as no one else or nothing else can satisfy the debt owed by our sins. It was indeed a free gift for anyone who would accept it.

After the decision is made to accept the gift there are expectations or conditions if you will and they are called fruits. We are the branches spoken of and if we do not bear fruit meet for repentance then we get cut off and thrown into the fire.

I usually have to explain myself further to those who are bent towards defending what is carnal in their lives.

I am not saying a believer has to do anything as they can go on sinning but that will simply equate them as a branch not bearing fruit and thus they will be thrown into the fire by God, the husbandman of the vine.

A true believer sees it more along the lines that they "get to" bear fruit for God. After having been separated from God and then reconciled they really do become a new creature with new desires. Any carnal issues after that will be an occasional slip but not a habitual falling into sin.

It is not by mistake that Jesus and Paul both pointed to the vine and branches as a demonstration within creation as to how God’s plan of reconciliation worked.

If you cannot see it you are not alone as many others today and back towards Calvin’s time missed it as well.

For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse…Romans 1:20

Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. 2 Corinthians 5:17

For if the firstfruit be holy, the lump is also holy: and if the root be holy, so are the branches. And if some of the branches be broken off, and thou, being a wild olive tree, wert graffed in among them, and with them partakest of the root and fatness of the olive tree; Boast not against the branches. But if thou boast, thou bearest not the root, but the root thee. Thou wilt say then, The branches were broken off, that I might be graffed in. Well; because of unbelief they were broken off, and thou standest by faith. Be not highminded, but fear: For if God spared not the natural branches, take heed lest he also spare not thee. Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off. And they also, if they abide not still in unbelief, shall be graffed in: for God is able to graff them in again. Romans 11:16-23

I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman. Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit. Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you. Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing. If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned. If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples. As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love. If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love. John 15:1-10

Modern day "blankets"

...only the irony here is that the "refugees" are the blankets and we are the "Native Americans". History does repeat itself. Do not believe the liberal hype that the early settlers did not do the same. Think hard about what the mindset was then. It is no different then what is happening now...

Give me libery or give me selfishness???

A most overlooked truth in regards to what Christian liberty truly is...

For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another. Galatians 5:13 KJV

Most Christians today see their "liberty" in Christ as a justification to serve their flesh instead of others. Our liberty in Christ is that we get to serve others and not ourselves. Only true believers can grasp this truth.

What or who are you a fan of?

Lets see, Paul did not play nor was he a fanatic (fan) of anything or anyone but Jesus Christ.

Football, baseball, etc, or anything that is associated with these such as money, beer, fantasies, etc, are not pure in God's economy.

We ought to do as Paul did and be a fan (fanatic) in God's Kingdom!

Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. [9] Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you. Philippians 4:8-9

Are you the seed of the American Revolution or a seed of Abraham?

Before you beat me with the "Murica!" stick, hear me out...

If you are only born of Abraham or the American Revolution then you are not truly free.

This is a spiritual fact taught by Jesus Christ.

You must be born again to be truly free.

Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. [5] Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. [6] That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. [7] Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again. John 3:3, 5-7 KJV

Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; [32] And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. [33] They answered him, We be Abraham's seed, and were never in bondage to any man: how sayest thou, Ye shall be made free? [34] Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin. [35] And the servant abideth not in the house for ever: but the Son abideth ever. [36] If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed. John 8:31-36 KJV

Saw this beautiful little one at the ALERT Academy today.

I estimate this one to be about 3 to 4 feet in length. When I first walked up to the pond something jumped into the water but I could not see what it was until this little guy popped up about a few seconds later. He stayed pretty close to shore keeping an eye on me...

What exactly did God say???

Yea hath God said? Or what did He really say?

God does not water down His messages but the modern critical editors seemed to think they knew better than God did.

We must guard against slippery slope arguments such as what the modern elitist and self-professed intellectuals and their philosophy, vain deceit, traditions of men, and the rudiments of the world,. (see Colossians 2:8)

God either said it or He did not.

The early church seemed to agree more with what we have in the KJV than what the modern lukewarm editors do.

I side with the early church and their correct applications of the manuscripts that they lived and died for.
