These new versions did this despite the early church fathers writing on the passage.
Just because the corrupt manuscripts such the vaticanus and sinaiticus, etc are weak on this or void of the passage does not prove the modern "elitest" textual critics correct. Early church writings dictate otherwise.
No wonder we have fallen for "Yea, hath God said?" just as Eve did.

Notice what is missing? "These three are one" has been stricken from the records of the modern versions by those who dare to edit God as did Satan did in the garden.
