Be Modest so others do not stumble and so that God can be glorified!

We must, both men and women, not dress in ways that will cause others to stumble through lusting with their eyes, or as Jesus put it, committing adultery...

We must present ourselves in such a way that brings God glory and not glory to ourselves...

Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not commit adultery: But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart. Matthew 5:27-28

Whose adorning let it not be that outward adorning of plaiting the hair, and of wearing of gold, or of putting on of apparel; But let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price. 1 Peter 3:3-4

In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array; But (which becometh women professing godliness) with good works.1 Timothy 2:9-10

As a jewel of gold in a swine's snout, so is a fair woman which is without discretion. Proverbs 11:22

This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh. Galatians 5:16
