How narrow is the way?
It is by one man alone.
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. John 14:6
Estimates of the world’s population at the time Noah range between 750 million to 4 billion. Taking an average of those widely ranging estimates gives us a compromise at 2,375,000,000.
When the flood came via God’s righteous judgment only 8 people out of an estimated 2 billion people were saved.
There were 600,000 men, not including the number of the women and children, who were led out of Egypt by God through His servant Moses.
Out of over an estimated 2 million people who left Egypt only two of those entered into the promise land.
Esaias also crieth concerning Israel, Though the number of the children of Israel be as the sand of the sea, a remnant shall be saved… Romans 9:27
But what saith the answer of God unto him? I have reserved to myself seven thousand men, who have not bowed the knee to the image of Baal. Even so then at this present time also there is a remnant according to the election of grace. Romans 11:4-5
Throughout the Bible we see that indeed it is few there be that find it.
Are you certain that you are one of the few?
Are you part of God’s remnant?
If not be in earnest prayer to the Father through His Son Jesus Christ and read through the Gospel of John as well as John’s epistles and then move on to the book of Romans as a starter.
Sincerely seek out the truths of God in how they apply to your soul’s current and future existence.
Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. Matthew 7:13-14
