Today there is yet another false doctrine that is embraced by many. This is the belief that open rebuke is always wrong.
Here are some scriptures that have corrected my understanding about this as I at one time believed this as well:

Doing drugs during pregnancy...should it be criminalized?
It makes no sense in regards to equal protection under the law when I as an adult would do significant time if I were to give drugs to a baby but when a pregnant woman passes along drugs to a baby in utero there are no criminal charges here in Texas. Their baby may be placed in foster care with the chance to regain custody given to the mother but no criminal charges are levied against her.
If I were to give a child drugs I should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law but to be fair and equal this should also apply to any pregnant woman who gives drugs to the babies they are carrying.
The current legal attitude for the most part is a very sad disproportionate approach to the value of life.
A survey of state laws in 2015 showed that "Tennessee is the only state with a statute that specifically makes it a crime to use drugs while pregnant. In Alabama and South Carolina, high courts have interpreted existing child endangerment and chemical endangerment statutes to allow prosecution of drug-using pregnant women and new mothers."

Here is how the 14th Amendment of the US Constitution reads:
Section 1. All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside. No State shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws.

The validity of the public debt of the United States, authorized by law, including debts incurred for payment of pensions and bounties for services in suppressing insurrection or rebellion, shall not be questioned. But neither the United States nor any State shall assume or pay any debt or obligation incurred in aid of insurrection or rebellion against the United States, or any claim for the loss or emancipation of any slave; but all such debts, obligations and claims shall be held illegal and void.
Section 5. The Congress shall have power to enforce, by appropriate legislation, the provisions of this article.

Lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh!
Nothing is more important than being ready.
Well the most important thing is actually what Jesus Christ did for us on the cross.
People today seem to be living as if there is no hope for tomorrow.
They are living as if the Cross is not the most important thing.
They are living as if there is no eternity to tend with after this life.
They are squeezing ever bit of self-satisfaction (sin) that they can get as if today may be their last day here on earth.
Maybe it is.
If it is then what are you doing?
Nothing is more important than being ready for when He comes again.
This means being in a constant state of alertness.
This means being productive for God's glory now and until Jesus comes again.
We should not be caught up in seeking our own good pleasures.
We should be caught up in a daily life of sanctification and not taking advantage of justification. Using justification for an excuse to be able to sin is making a mockery of God.
When He comes again and finds us serving ourselves instead of serving God almighty, as we ought to be doing, then we will be devastated to hear that we will not be going with Him.
We should not be surprised though as we have been told in very clear words that we ought to be ready.
In regards to being ready and all the things that need to be done, its not that we 'have to' do anything, we 'get to'...the true believer understands that quite well. Many will reject this idea crying out "it's not works based!" but those are the ones who fail to realize that without the works, their faith is dead.
Consider the follow scriptures to see if these things are indeed so:
And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.
For I have received of the Lord that which also I delivered unto you, That the Lord Jesus the same night in which he was betrayed took bread: And when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me. For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works. These things speak, and exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no man despise thee.
Well the most important thing is actually what Jesus Christ did for us on the cross.
People today seem to be living as if there is no hope for tomorrow.
They are living as if the Cross is not the most important thing.
They are living as if there is no eternity to tend with after this life.
They are squeezing ever bit of self-satisfaction (sin) that they can get as if today may be their last day here on earth.
Maybe it is.
If it is then what are you doing?
Nothing is more important than being ready for when He comes again.
This means being in a constant state of alertness.
This means being productive for God's glory now and until Jesus comes again.
We should not be caught up in seeking our own good pleasures.
We should be caught up in a daily life of sanctification and not taking advantage of justification. Using justification for an excuse to be able to sin is making a mockery of God.
When He comes again and finds us serving ourselves instead of serving God almighty, as we ought to be doing, then we will be devastated to hear that we will not be going with Him.
We should not be surprised though as we have been told in very clear words that we ought to be ready.
In regards to being ready and all the things that need to be done, its not that we 'have to' do anything, we 'get to'...the true believer understands that quite well. Many will reject this idea crying out "it's not works based!" but those are the ones who fail to realize that without the works, their faith is dead.
Consider the follow scriptures to see if these things are indeed so:
Luke 21:27-28:
And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.

We should be caught up in a daily life of sanctification and not taking advantage of justification. Using justification for an excuse to be able to sin is making a mockery of God.
When He comes again and finds us serving ourselves instead of serving God almighty, as we ought to be doing, then we will be devastated to hear that we will not be going with Him.
We should not be surprised though as we have been told in very clear words that we ought to be ready.
In regards to being ready and all the things that need to be done, its not that we 'have to' do anything, we 'get to'...the true believer understands that quite well. Many will reject this idea crying out "it's not works based!" but those are the ones who fail to realize that without the works, their faith is dead.
Consider the follow scriptures to see if these things are indeed so:

And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.

I pray that we change our ways, repent and turn back to God before it is too late.
I am concerned over the ever increasingly failing US strategy. ISIS is anti-Assad and so are we supposedly. We have the same agenda as they do in Syria and that is to get rid of Assad but then I guess we, the US, are supposedly trying to rid of both of them.
Going further back this is how Al-Qaeda rose to power a while back, we meddled in the affairs over in the Mid-East as well as across the globe. We continue to keep the cycle churning. Thus we continue to prop up the military industrial complex. Logic dictates that this strategy has never worked nor will it ever. The only beneficiaries are those who own stock in the war machines. Everyone else are just collateral and expendable write-offs...
Well-meaning citizens here in the US believe it is for the cause of liberty. The more we war the more liberty we lose. Just look at all the restrictions and regulations that arose after 9/11, all in the name of the supposed war for peace. We cannot give up our liberties in order to secure our freedoms as these are one in the same.
We cannot continue our murderous domestic (abortions) and foreign policies and not expect to heap up for ourselves the well-deserved judgment and wrath of God.
When we choose as a people to kill first and to not witness at all to our supposed enemies regarding their need for Jesus then, yes, we are not acting as Godly people but instead we prove ourselves to being a murderous and selfish people. This is not my assessment but the Bible’s. Start with Matthew chapter 5 then proceed to read the rest of the Bible for yourself to see that this is so.

So why do you want to go to heaven???
Let's be like Job in regards to this question. See at the end of this post for that scripture reference...
I tell our children that if people want to go to heaven just so they do not have to go to hell then they have selfish intentions with their desire to be saved. These most likely will not make it into heaven.
The only ones who will go to heaven are those who seek after God and desire to see His face one day.
The only ones who will go to heaven are those who are born again and who obey God.
Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God...Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again. John 3:3, 5-7

If there are so many Christians in America then why is this even a problem???

In 2015 there was an estimated 428,000 children in foster care throughout the US. (http://www.childrensrights.org/newsroom/fact-sheets/aging-out/)
In 2015, more than 20,000 young people — whom states failed to reunite with their families or place in permanent homes — aged out of foster care, simply because they were too old to remain. (http://www.childrensrights.org/newsroom/fact-sheets/aging-out/)
In 2015, of the 428,000 children in foster care, more than 17,000 had case goals of emancipation, or aging out after leaving foster care without a permanent family. (http://www.childrensrights.org/newsroom/fact-sheets/aging-out/)
These statistics demonstrate that Christianity in America is lukewarm at best. I say this because there is a constant cry out for help in the foster system year after year.
We have worked for several years with ARROW Child and Family Ministries and they along with others are constantly talking about the shortfall of volunteers needed to help these children. (http://www.arrow.org/more-foster-parents-needed/).
So really, if there are so many Christians in America then why is this even a problem???
Why is this a problem when we are told to deny ourselves and take up our crosses daily (Luke 9:23) and to die daily for Jesus Christ (1 Corinthians 15:31)? This means living a life of sacrifice for others verses pursuing your own selfish desires. My apologies for being blunt here but it needs to be pointed out. If only 3% of self-professing Christians in America are actually doing something about this then that is a tragic indictment against the soul of the Church in America.

If there are so many Christians in America then why is this even a problem???

In 2015, more than 20,000 young people — whom states failed to reunite with their families or place in permanent homes — aged out of foster care, simply because they were too old to remain. (http://www.childrensrights.org/newsroom/fact-sheets/aging-out/)
In 2015, of the 428,000 children in foster care, more than 17,000 had case goals of emancipation, or aging out after leaving foster care without a permanent family. (http://www.childrensrights.org/newsroom/fact-sheets/aging-out/)
These statistics demonstrate that Christianity in America is lukewarm at best. I say this because there is a constant cry out for help in the foster system year after year.
We have worked for several years with ARROW Child and Family Ministries and they along with others are constantly talking about the shortfall of volunteers needed to help these children. (http://www.arrow.org/more-foster-parents-needed/).
So really, if there are so many Christians in America then why is this even a problem???
Why is this a problem when we are told to deny ourselves and take up our crosses daily (Luke 9:23) and to die daily for Jesus Christ (1 Corinthians 15:31)? This means living a life of sacrifice for others verses pursuing your own selfish desires. My apologies for being blunt here but it needs to be pointed out. If only 3% of self-professing Christians in America are actually doing something about this then that is a tragic indictment against the soul of the Church in America.
When we have scriptures such as Matthew 25:34-46 one would think there would be no shortage of help for these children.
If your excuse is somewhere along the lines of "I could never do that" then your faith in God is either lacking or you are just being honest with your selfishness.
The children need help and we have the ability to give it them. Why are we holding back?

Based on Romans 3:23-24 does God's grace cover a person's sins past, present and future?
