For those that accept the first picture as a critical issue of disobedience against God's word, do you also, in the same context, accept the second picture?
I would venture to guess that many have fallen prey to the modern doctrines verses what the Bible actually teaches.
Jesus clearly commanded that neither should be done and withing the same chapter and context.
Today the modern church embraces the first picture but essentially ignores the second.
The scripture in the second picture was actually stated first by Jesus.
Sad irony that is seen in the watered down and backwards doctrines in the church of today...
