1938, one of the many years that the USA thumbed it's nose at God...

For some time now I have been amazed that the majority of Christians have no issue with getting as much time away from work as they can. In fact they celebrate the holidays and weekends that are built into our country's laws that encourage this.

God's word certainly does not support a 40 hour, 5 day work week with weekends (two days) off...

America's sabbath day is two days long. God's was and still is one day.

Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work: But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates: For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it. Exodus 20:8-11
