Are you high minded? God will bring you down...

We must guard against being prideful or else we will find ourselves brought down hard by God.

He will bring the high minded down from the lofty ledges that they have built for themselves.

Rest assured, that they will not end as well as their pride may have planned.

The pride of thine heart hath deceived thee, thou that dwellest in the clefts of the rock, whose habitation is high; that saith in his heart, Who shall bring me down to the ground? [4] Though thou exalt thyself as the eagle, and though thou set thy nest among the stars, thence will I bring thee down, saith the Lord. Obadiah 1:3-4

Pride goeth before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall. Proverbs 16:18
