Are the words of the Lord preserved or not?

Compare these verses with your version. Most likely you will see that not all versions say the same thing in different ways as many incorrectly state. In fact they say things in completely differently ways and in this case it is specifically towards God's promise to preserve his Words.

Case in point:

The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times.
Thou shalt keep them, O LORD, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever. Psalms 12:6-7 KJV

And the words of the LORD are flawless, like silver purified in a crucible, like gold[fn] refined seven times. You, LORD, will keep the needy safe and will protect us forever from the wicked, Psalms 12:6-7 NIV

The original context, in the most reliable manuscripts, denote that the pronoun used in the onset of verse seven ought to be third person plural (Them) and not the first person plural (Us).

Which Bible do you use? The one with God's original intent or one that states otherwise?
