Throwing science out for fairy tales...

The most recent "Bathroom Debate" highlights this dilemma  quite well.

I find it sadly ironic that many folks who claim that Christians (Creationists) believe in fairy tales and are not scientifically minded are actually the ones who are rejecting science for fairy tales.

In biology classrooms students today are taught that XX = female and XY = male. This much is true. But once that class is over the student then goes to the next classroom where they are told that they get choose what sex they are.

The worldviews of non-believers (Lukewarm "Christians", atheist, evolutionist, ad nauseam...)  are ever shifting and are based on faulty logic to the core.

The non-believer can never trust the ground on which they try to stand. They have built their lives on sinking sand while the true Christian remains on solid ground.

Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:  And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.  And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand:  And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.  Matthew 7:24-27
