The world today, including professing Christians, have lost their ability to blush.
When we are not modest or when we see immodesty and sin in general we should blush as was mentioned in Ezra.
And said, O my God, I am ashamed and blush to lift up my face to thee, my God: for our iniquities are increased over our head, and our trespass is grown up unto the heavens. Ezra 9:6
Instead, people today have lost their ability to blush over immodesty and sin in general. This problem was also noted in Jeremiah's time.
Were they ashamed when they had committed abomination? nay, they were not at all ashamed, neither could they blush: therefore they shall fall among them that fall: at the time that I visit them they shall be cast down, saith the LORD. Jeremiah 6:15
Once was the time in our society when many would blush because they were embarrassed when they were confronted with immodesty.
Now we have it where most are embarrassed to blush over immodesty and sin in general.
Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter! Isaiah 5:20
