God’s Word takes exception with all of the above associations and essentially relegates them as non-essentials when it comes to real and substantial eternal equality or in other words when it comes to the worth of any man or woman none of those things actually matter.
While the world says everyone is equal, God’s word states that he accepts only those who fear Him, those who are producing righteousness within His economy. He does not give preference to anyone who does not fear Him nor to anyone who does not work righteousness.
Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons: But in every nation he that feareth him, and worketh righteousness, is accepted with him. Acts 10:34-35
And still many in the world want to insist that all people are equal no matter what.
God’s word says that last will be first and that the servant of all is the greater than anyone who is living by the world’s standards.
And whosoever of you will be the chiefest, shall be servant of all. For even the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many. Mark 10:44-45
God does not give preference to anyone who does not believe in Him through His Son Jesus Christ.
God blesses the poor in spirit, those that mourn, the meek, those who hunger and thirst after righteousness, the merciful, the pure in heart, the peacemakers, those who are persecuted for righteousness, and those who are reviled and persecuted for Jesus. God does not bless those who do not seek and follow Him through His Son Jesus Christ.
Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted.
Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.
Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.
Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy.
Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.
Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.
Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.
Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you. Matthew 5:3-12
The world says that the Christian has equal value to a person who does not follow after Christ. God shows us in His word that He completely disagrees with the world’s standards, especially in regards to equality, and that He has the one and only and much higher standard.
There is only one way to reach His standard.
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. John 14:6
Only God’s standard has value both now and forever.
