God’s law is the measure of our growth and goodness. How can one know if the changes they are seeing are actually causing a growth that brings one closer to God? If one thinks they are becoming more sensitive to their conscience but are not in the Word on a regular basis how can they be certain that this sensitivity is actually in line with God’s will?
What fruit can properly grow without water?
There may be fruit that is thought to be good but without the proper water it will be the kind of fruit that will result in Jesus saying “I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity”…
Without being in the word daily one will drift further in to areas of error and apart from God.
The Bible has too many references in regards to this to argue against it.
