What is wrong with the Christian Church today?

What is wrong with the Christian Church today?
Why don't modern preachers preach on Lamentations 1:10?

Well it would hurt their numbers for starters. Especially if they were to do any exhaustive preaching on what fellowship really is according to the Bible.

The  reason is clearly shown in the Bible. The modern non-biblical doctrines of the of the churches today are such that they refuse to adhere to the literal teachings of the Bible. It is no wonder that Christianity is failing miserably today.

This gets me in trouble at times for bringing it up. But i Can only say that I did not write the Bible I only believe what it says...

Lamentations 1:10 The adversary hath spread out his hand upon all her pleasant things: for she hath seen that the heathen entered into her sanctuary, whom thou didst command that they should not enter into thy congregation.

Psalm 26:1 Judge me, O LORD; for I have walked in mine integrity: I have trusted also in the LORD; therefore I shall not slide.
2   Examine me, O LORD, and prove me; try my reins and my heart.
3   For thy lovingkindness is before mine eyes: and I have walked in thy truth.
4   I have not sat with vain persons, neither will I go in with dissemblers.
5   I have hated the congregation of evil doers; and will not sit with the wicked.
6   I will wash mine hands in innocency: so will I compass thine altar, O LORD:
7   That I may publish with the voice of thanksgiving, and tell of all thy wondrous works.
8   LORD, I have loved the habitation of thy house, and the place where thine honour dwelleth.
9   Gather not my soul with sinners, nor my life with bloody men:
10   In whose hands is mischief, and their right hand is full of bribes.
11   But as for me, I will walk in mine integrity: redeem me, and be merciful unto me.
12   My foot standeth in an even place: in the congregations will I bless the LORD.

The New Testament has even more on this in regards to the necessity in avoiding being yoked with nonbelievers
and the command to not have any fellowship with the darkness (Ephesians 5:11, 2 Corinthians 6:14-18 etc.).

There are many scriptures from Genesis through Revelation that constantly speak of keeping the fellowship pure and separated from the world. The purpose of the fellowship is to edify the saints so that they can go out equipped while making disciples.

Ephesians 5:11 And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.

2 Corinthians 6:14-18   Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?
15   And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?
16   And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.
17   Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you,
18   And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.

The process of bringing folks into the fellowship and maintaining church attendance is this, first you make disciples and then you bring them into the fellowship. Its not the other way around as we do it today or least try to...

If they fall away then you cast them out of the congregation such is what Paul, and even more importantly, Jesus said to do (See Matthew 18:15-17, 1 Corinthians 5:5,, 2 Thessalonians 3:14, etc).

No wonder the church is loosing ground in the world, they are doing things backwards and contrary to scripture. Its time to wake up the remnant so we can get others back in line with what God Word says we ought to be doing!

The church (fellowship) is intended to build up the saints in order for the them to be better equipped to go out and seek and save the lost (1 Thessalonians 5:11, 1 Corinthians 14:26, Hebrews 10:24-25, Mathew 28:19-20, etc.).

Keep in mind there are many many other verses that give credence to what I am saying here. Again, I did not write the Bible, I just believe it.

Matthew 28:19-20 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
20   Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
