It is interesting how the attitude in this country (and across the world) has swung from one where it was once OK to be open and public with your faith as a Christian but now it is pretty much politically incorrect to do so. The bogus idea of "Separation of Church and State" highlights this at our government's level where it is expected for Christians to keep silent in our countries politics while secular atheists have their way.
In past times it would be seen as proper to refuse to bake a cake for deviants. In fact this would have never come up as most folks in times past understood that any lifestyle other than the one that God designed and purposed for us was improper on more levels than just a Biblical one.
In times past only a man or woman would seek a license from their state to marry and if anyone that deviated from God's original intent in this area would ask they would admonished for violating God's law.
In times past coaches could openly pray to God the Father through Jesus' name and not loose their job over it. In fact, it was expected more often than not.
In times past the Bible was the core curriculum for students now it is not allowed anywhere near a public school classroom.
In times past God was credited for Creation in the so-called science classrooms now He is not allowed in there at all.
In times past Christians were somewhat more free to live out and share their faith in many countries where they are now being persecuted and killed today. In fact Christianity is the most persecuted religion now in the world.
The demonic spirit that drove Nero to blame the Christians for burning Rome is once again starting raging fires here in the US and around the world and once again Christians are being blamed for it.
Christians now is the time to stand up literally for your faith.
If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of thine hand, O king. But if not, be it known unto thee, O king, that we will not serve thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up. Daniel 3:17-18
