After my time in the military and after much learning, praying and repenting since then I find that this man states the current function of the military quite well.
One would have to do some serious political and ideological gymnastics to justify the traditional explanations that are still widely propagated today.
It was truly painful for me to accept the truth in this matter as I so want to believe the lie that I embraced most of my life.
