Does God only hate the sin and not the sinner?

These verses directly oppose the modern perversion of God’s perspective towards this:

The foolish shall not stand in thy sight: thou hatest all workers of iniquity. Psalm 5:5

The LORD trieth the righteous: but the wicked and him that loveth violence his soul hateth. Psalm 11:5

Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God. James 4:4

This in no way states that God does not love us enough to die for us so that we could be reconciled back to Him.

It just shows that He is quiet capable of hating and loving perfectly at the same time.
