Judeo-Christian, is an oxymoron

People like to group these two belief systems together to describe the supposed core beliefs that these two separate world views share.

There is one core belief that dictates that these two world views are indeed not at all similar. This is the most important core belief.

God does not see these two world views as being anything that ought to be joined together. In fact He would rather those who identify as Jewish to repent and accept Jesus Christ as their only way to eternal life. Jesus Christ is their only way to be reconciled to their Creator Father.

The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. 2 Peter 3:9

There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise. Galatians 3:28-29

John wrote about the stark distinction that separate these two world views.

These specific scriptures explain clearly why the term Judeo-Christian is indeed an oxymoron:

Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son.  Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: [(but) he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also]. 1 John 2:22-23

Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son. If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed: For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds.2 John 1:9-11
