What kind of backwards lunacy is this?
Our government has subtly taken the place of God and many today can not see not do they care.
I find it sadly ironic that our US Constitution affirms the fact that we are born with the right to bear arms. We are born with the right to protect our families and others.
Yet...Today we must get permission from the government in order to exercise a right we were born with and, as mentioned above, the foundational legal document of our country affirms this fact.
It is a sad thing that we have to pass a bill regarding the Constitutional right to carry when the Constitution already says we have it.
What a sick and twisted world we live in.
It is this abuse and hypocrisy that makes me not excited about the country I am currently living. I am however excited about the Kingdom I actually belong to! I am excited about the city where I will one day see my Heavenly Almighty Father!
For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ: Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself. Philippians 3:20-21
For here have we no continuing city, but we seek one to come. Hebrews 13:14
To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you,1 Peter 1:4
Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God; Ephesians 2:19
