This, of course, contradicts the popular prosperity focused and unbiblical notion that God has a wonderful plan for your life.
While God cares for you His will is not to bless us with comfort and material things. Instead His will is to glorify and please Himself through our submission and willingness to be used by Him.
A true believer would count it all joy to be used by God through whatever trials an tribulations that this world will bring his way.
God indeed has a wonderful plan for your death!
Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints. Psalm 116:15
My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; [3] Knowing this , that the trying of your faith worketh patience. James 1:2-3
For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure. Philippians 2:13
