If you are a true believer in Jesus Christ then you cannot call something clean just because you want to do it...

Christians today need to learn the lesson that God gave to the people back in Haggai's time. You cannot "Chrsitianize" something just because you want to participate in it.

Halloween is an example of just this. To it's core it is evil with a fixation with the dead and evil all around. Any association with this day is inexcusable for anyone who professes to be a Christian.

Just like in Haggai's time, you can try to call it clean but God states clearly otherwise.

When you partake in days like Halloween you are presenting works with hands that are unclean. If your life is to be a sacrificial offering to the LORD just as He gave His life for you then essentially what you are doing through your actions and compromise is offering an unclean sacrifice to the LORD. He will reject the sacrifice and you as well. The Bible is very clear on that.

Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Ask now the priests concerning the law, saying, If one bear holy flesh in the skirt of his garment, and with his skirt do touch bread, or pottage, or wine, or oil, or any meat, shall it be holy? And the priests answered and said, No. Then said Haggai, If one that is unclean by a dead body touch any of these, shall it be unclean? And the priests answered and said, It shall be unclean. Then answered Haggai, and said, So is this people, and so is this nation before me, saith the LORD; and so is every work of their hands; and that which they offer there is unclean.Haggai 2:11-14

Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them. Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. Romans 12:1-2

Prove all things; hold fast that which is good. Abstain from all appearance of evil. 1 Thessalonians 5:21-22

Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?
